PERODUA OFFERS FREE 5-POINT INSPECTION FOR MOTORISTS

Contributing to safer motoring and to help motorists ensure they have a smooth drive, Perodua is offering a free 5-point inspection for all vehicles at 4 designated Petronas service stations along the North-South and East Coast expressways. The service will be available between 4 pm and 10 pm from September 16 to September 18 when motorists are expected to be returning after the long Hari Raya Aidil Fitri break.

The service will be available at the Petronas service stations located at the following rest and service areas – Tapah (northbound), Gunung Semanggol (southbound) and both Gambang east and westbound. The company had earlier offered the same service from September 7 to September 9

The 5-point inspection includes checks on battery fluid, tyre pressure, engine oil level, brake fluid and windscreen water. Perodua will provide 2 to 3 mechanics at each of the designated service stations to conduct the checks. Motorists will also receive packets of wet tissues, a safety guide booklet and dates.

“This free 5-point inspection service is part of our corporate responsibility programme which is in line with our people first philosophy. We firmly believe that safety begins with the driver themselves and it is also important for the owner to have their vehicles serviced regularly or checked prior to a long journey,” said Perodua Managing Director Aminar Rashid Salleh.

“I would also like to wish everyone Selamat Hari Raya Aidil Fitri,” he added.
