ETCM LAUNCHES NISSAN 370Z AND MURANO.

Edaran Tan Chong Motor has introduced the Nissan 370Z and Murano crossover into the Malaysian market.

The 370Z, which made its global debut in Dec last year, features a VQ37VHR 3.7l V6 engine with VVEL (Variable Valve Event and Lift), offering 328bhp and 363Nm of torque.

Two transmissions options are available – you can plonk for the six-speed manual transmission or the newly-developed seven-speed automatic with manual shift mode. The manual transmission is of course the enthusiast driver’s choice, being the world’s first SyncroRev Match control system which automatically blips the throttle to simulate heel & toe shifting.

As for the Murano, the model available here is the 3.5L X-CVT. The second-generation premium crossover offers more in the way of sportiness, improved driving performance, luxury features as well as a quieter and more comfortable interior than its predecessor.

Nissan’s proven VQ35DE V6 engine, with 256bhp and 336Nm, is the powertrain of choice, and it’s paired with an Xtronic CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) in this all-wheel drive vehicle. Features include memory seats, stylish dual glass sunroof, power lift gate and rear view camera as well as 18-inch alloys.

Pricing for the fully-imported 370Z and Murano 3.5L X-CVT start from RM354,400 and RM318,200 respectively, excluding road tax, insurance and registration related charges, in Peninsular Malaysia. Both vehicles come with a 3-year or 100,000km warranty, and will be available for viewing at selected Nissan showrooms nationwide from Aug 19.
