ASIA DUCATI WEEK 2010 SPECIALS ON BIKES AND MERCHANDISE!
The Asia Ducati Week 2010, the region’s first and largest gathering of Ducati bikers, comes to the Sepang International Circuit in conjunction with this year’s MotoGP championships.
Besides the roar of some 800 bikes from around the world that would converge in Kuala Lumpur for the race weekend, Next Bike Sdn Bhd, the distributor of Ducati motorcycle in Malaysia will be organizing a host of fun-filled activities for the visiting Ducati riders, including the local riders.
As this is Ducati’s premier event, and one that puts Malaysia on the list of preferred sport tourism destinations, the company, a member of the NAZA Group of Companies, will be offering special deals for those wanting to buy a bike from one of the world’s most exclusive manufacturer, and be part of this inaugural event. The Asia Ducati Week Premier Package, worth more than RM2,300, is free for those who purchase a Ducati motorcycle from now until 30th September 2010.
Up for grabs is a service package worth RM765 that includes oil filters and a pack of 4L Shell Advance 10W/40 motor oil, a pair of either Pirelli Diablo Super Corsa SC 2 or Bridgestone Battlax BT016 tyres worth some RM1,600 (depending on motorcycle model) and vouchers that could be redeemed for Ducati official merchandise, accessories or spare parts.
The Ducati models include the Monster 1100, Monster 1100S, 848, 1198, 1198S, Streetfighter and Streetfighter S.
NAZA Group of Companies Joint Group Executive Chairman Dato’ Hj SM Faisal Tan Sri SM Nasimuddin explained that the special deals are in line with the Group’s objective of offering “only the best” to its customers.
“Being the pioneer in bringing such an event to the country, we are very excited about this upcoming event and want to extend this cheer to our customers. As this is an exclusive brand, we believe such an event further cements Ducati’s position and appeal in Malaysia,” he added.
If this is not enough, the company is also offering its Ducati official merchandise collection at the lowest prices. These merchandise booths will be located along Jalan P. Ramlee in Kuala Lumpur during the two-night Ducati Street Party.
Themed “Red Storm” and supported by Tourism Malaysia and the City of Kuala Lumpur, the event will see an international participation from more than 22 countries from Asia, including Australia, Canada, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, New Caledonia, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam as well as several Ducatis from Europe.
A complete range of merchandise, worth some RM500, 000, will be put on sale including riding gear, sportswear, men’s and women’s accessories and collectibles and souvenirs.
The Asia Ducati Week, which includes the Ducati Riding Experience or DRE, personally supervised by World Superbike Champion Troy Bayliss, will be organized from October 11 to 12, at the Sepang International Circuit.
The Asia Ducati Week is based on the popular World Ducati Week, which is held at the Misano World Circuit, in Italy. During this year’s edition the Italian coast of the Adriatic Riviera vibrated with the thunderous sounds of Ducatis and boasted a record-breaking 60,000 motorcyclists from 28 nations from five continents – reinforcing the international appeal of the Ducati brand.
