Remember the Honda Civic Mugen RR? Wait till you see this one. The Honda Nsx Mugen RR.During the recent Tokyo Auto Salon, Honda had reveal the Nsx Mugen RR Concept.The concept has been inspired by the Honda NSX sports car which was recently put on production hold by Honda.
From what can be seen in the photos the Honda NSX Mugen RR will feature extensive aerodynamic modifications, including hood vents, a wide body kit, a new rear spoiler
and diffuser and a roof scoop. The Honda NSX Mugen RR will also have upgraded brakes.
It measures in at 4.52m in length, 1.95m in width, and just 1.32m high, but beneath its mix of metal and carbon-fiber panels is an empty engine bay. The NSX Mugen RR is
purely a show car and was created as a way to celebrate the last of the series of production.
From the see-through technical cutaways published the NSX was shown to have a naturally aspirated 5.0-litre V10 Vtec
engine. It was expected to produce in excess of 500hp (378kW) and Honda bosses had demanded that it be faster than the Nissan GTR.
However no confirmation on whether the Nsx Mugen RR is going into the production line.
