2013 MALAYSIAN GRAND PRIX F1 TICKET BEST DEAL 50% OFF!

Tickets for the 2013 Formula 1 PETRONAS Malaysia Grand Prix, which are currently on offer at 50 percent discount, are available for direct purchase at KL Sentral in Kuala Lumpur beginning today.

Located at Level 1 near the KLIA Ekspres Departure Hall, the ticket booth will open for 15 consecutive days until January 1, next year – the day when the race tickets will return to normal prices.“We decided to have the ticket booth upon requests from fans … they can now easily go to KL Sentral and purchase the discounted tickets,” says Dato’ Razlan Razali, the Chief Executive Officer of Sepang International Circuit (SIC) – the promoter and organizer of the 2012 Formula 1 PETRONAS Malaysia Grand Prix.

“There will be other ticket sales points, which we will announce from time to time as we move closer to the event in March next year,” said Razlan, who advised fans to get their tickets now and take opportunity of the current promotional offer.

“This early bird promotion is the best promotion and deal period prior to future announcements of concerts, exclusive events and added value to the ticket holders. Hence, it is better to get the tickets now as it will not get any cheaper than this,” he added.According to Razlan, the ticket booth at KL Sentral would operate from 9.30am to 9.30pm daily throughout the 15-day operation; and that KL Sentral was selected as the location because it was easily assessable by LRT and KL Monorail for city folks; and KTM Komuter for those outside Klang Valley.

“Alternatively, fans can also purchase their tickets on-line at www.sepangcircuit.com or by calling our TICKET HOTLINE at 603-87782222 ,” Razlan said, adding that response to tickets sales for the 15th edition of the Formula 1 race in Sepang had been overwhelming.Malaysia would host Round 2 of a 20-leg 2013 FIA Formula 1 World Championship from March 22 to 24. The new season opens with the Australian Grand Prix at Albert Park in Melbourne on the preceding weekend. With the discounts, tickets to catch the race are priced as low as RM33 for seats at the open Hillstands for the entire three days; making the F1 race in Sepang as the most affordable tickets as compared to other F1 venues.

The current offer for 50 percent discounts applies to all tickets except for three zones including the Diamond seats, which were already sold out, and seats at Emerald and Sapphire seating areas. For the 2013 race, the circuit had set a target of 90,000 spectators for the race, which would see three-time world champion and winner of last year’s race, Sebastian Vettel of Red Bull Racing attempting to win his third Malaysian crown after failing to do so this year.Apart from world class racing action, SIC had promised a thrilling off-track actions as well with entertainment and street parties in conjunction with the 15th edition of the Formula 1 PETRONAS Malaysia Grand Prix.

“It will be a full package of race, partying, shopping and traveling. We are planning a massive celebration in Malaysia in conjunction with the 15th edition of the F1 race this year,” Razlan said, adding that the events that had been lined up included the Malaysian GP Sale, concerts by international artists, autoshow, the F1 Gala Dinner and the PETRONAS Malaysia Grand Prix Showcase.
