The Italian car manufacturer Maserati has recently introduced its latest masterpiece in the art of sport cars, the new 2011 Maserati GranCabrio Fendi.
Started in 2007, this first edition was released and named as GranTurisimo at the Geneva Motor Show and underwent a series of upgraded versions by the Italian automaker, which includes the GranTurisimo S (2008) and Gran Turisimo MC/S Automatic/MC Sport Line (2009) and was later renamed to GranCabrio by year 2010.
A noticeable change in this 2-door Italian coupe is in the propulsion system, which is now equipped with a 4.7-liter Maserati Quattroporte V8 engine that could drive a maximum output of 433 horses with a front engine rear wheel drive design layout (FR layout). A statistic data in term of its engine performance show that the 2011 GrandCarbio Sport cann accelerate from 0-100km/h at a time of 5.2 seconds only.
This new model could generate a top speed of 180 mph. Its shifting gears gearbox has a variant of either a ZF 6-speed automatic or a MC-Shift semi-automatic transmission that can be shifted in a normal, manual or auto depending on the drivers style or engine requirements. In this special edition of the 2011 GranCabrio Fendi, a Maserati trident and a Fendi logo are affixed on its silver oval plaque front panel.
