    FORD TAURUS SHO

During a period of deep recession, when GM and Chrysler were chomping at the bit for government funds and Detroit was looked at as nothing more than an output engine for gas-guzzling cars, Ford was hard at work redesigning their much-loved Taurus and were working on bringing back the legendary high-performance Taurus SHO (Super High Output) for the 2010 model year, but this time, they were doing it with the environment in mind.

The SHO sedan is powered by a 365-horsepower 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine. Power goes to all four wheels thanks to standard all-wheel-drive. SHO delivers 365 horsepower at 5,500 rpm and 350 pound-feet of torque at 3,500 rpm

The new Taurus SHO driveline combines a six-speed 6F55 SelectShift transmission with standard torque-sensing all-wheel-drive. The six-speed transmission offers a wide array of gears to enable quick acceleration, yet comfortable high-speed cruising, through a 2.77 to 1 final drive ratio. SelectShift provides conventional automatic operation or a manual shift mode that gives the driver complete control via paddle shifters. For performance-minded drivers, paddle controls allow “rev-match” downshifts and will hold manually selected gears for precise control.

Standard features include: push-button start, the Easy Fuel capless fuel filler, Ford SYNC with voice activation, and ambient lighting. Also standard is MyKey, which enables the owner to set specific limits for certain operators, such as new drivers. These ‘parental controls’ include the ability to set an 80 mph speed limiter, stereo volume limiter, consistently-engaged stability control, speed chimes, a persistent safety belt reminder, and earlier low-fuel warning.

    FORD HARLEY DAVIDSON F-150

The 2010 Ford Harley-Davidson F-150 is the latest in Ford’s line of co-branded trucks combining the popularity of the F-150 and the style of Harley-Davidson.

The front end is completely redesigned, sporting a Harley specific six bar billet-style chrome grille with painted surround, unique upper and lower front bumper treatment, and color matched headlight clusters.

F-150 has new features like fully differentiated design, all-wheel-drive capability, 22-inch wheels and a knock-out interior. The 2010 Ford Harley-Davidson F-150 is equipped with a 5.4-liter three-valve engine, which is rated up to 320 horsepower and 390 ft.-lbs. of torque and mated to a six-speed automatic transmission with a sport-tuned exhaust and a top speed of 115 mph. The truck is available with 4×2 or an optional all-wheel drive, which features settings of 4×2, AWD and 4×4 high, unique to the Harley-Davidson edition on the F-150 platform.
