This is what happened when you only know how to drive but not to maintain properly using proper genuine parts. A gearbox issue under Volkswagen Audi group especially the DQ200 can be solved and prevented by using original parts and service following the recommended interval. Wrong use of parts will contribute to Gearbox failure or jerking.

2010 audi S3 sport back with a nasty jerky DSG issue. Immediately suspected the worst but advised the basic first which is oil and filter change.
When we removed the oil filter….WOW!! Think we found the issue. So old and tired it looked like a piece of tissue wrapped around it..
Turned out to be a very lucky escape as the box and drive was silky smooth after a service using genuine parts.
