New Toyota Rush Facelift launched by Toyota Malaysia following the new Avanza. Toyota refresh the New Rush with changes on the exterior and interior where the exterior lamp, rear bumper and front bumper have new design while interior colour changed to darker cabin. Toyota also improve the fuel consumption of Toyota New Rush by 5% of it km/l and the noise is reduced by adding more insulation.

Featuring more body colours and changes to the interior and exterior.
Fuel efficiency has also been improved while noise levels are lower as a result of better insulation.

The Rush now comes in five body colours. Apart from the usual black and silver, it is now also available in Champagne Metallic, White and Grey Metallic.
The Rush sports a new grille complemented by a new front bumper with restyled integrated foglamp housings for the 1.5S variant on each lower corner.
The overall looks of the rear end of the Rush, with its wraparound glass, remain the same but there is now a number bumper with a restyled protector plate and newly-designed combination lights.
The interior now has a dark grey colour theme. Being darker, stains will not be so visible, something which will be appreciated by owners who lead active lifestyles.
The door trim, carpet mats, bag hook (under the passenger headrest) and centre console box have also been colour corodinated with the new theme.

The instrument panel has also received some changes to better coordinate with the new cabin colour. The gearknob is also new, both in colour and design.
On the centre part of the dashboard, the console has been completely redesigned and now has an analogue-styled presentation for the audio system area. The audio system has also been upgraded to a 2-DIN type and is compatible with MP3 and WMA music formats. Portable music players and USB thumbdrives can be connected to the unit so that personal selections of music can be played.
In response to customer requests for more flexibility, the new Rush now has a 50:50 split backrest for the third row of seats. This allows for partial folding of the third row backrest so that one person can be seated while extra luggage can be carried on one side. In the event that the third row of seating is not needed, it can be folded forward against the back of the second row to provide more cargo space.

For the latest engines, fuel efficiency has been improved around 5% through optimisation of the air-conditioning system while noise levels have been reduced at high speeds (100 – 120 km/h range). For the latter improvement, insulation has been added in the dashboard area and a resonator has also been fitted to the air-cleaner.
For urban use, the Rush will prove ideal as its turning radius is a tight 5.2 metres (kerb to kerb) which is impressive for a SUV. Rack and pinion power-assisted steering makes it easy to manoeuvre and the short overhangs also make positioning the vehicle in tight spots easy.
All three variants have a SRS airbag for the driver with the Rush 1.5S having an additional one for the front passenger as well.
The Rush comes in three variants: Rush 1.5S Automatic at RM96,990; Rush 1.5G Automatic at RM91,190 and Rush 1.5G Manual at RM88,190.

- ketika meluncur dan mendaki kne hard press pedal 1/2 throttle baru dia pick-up kalu tak dia slowly pickup (maybe sbb 1.5 vvti body berat skit)
- changing gear x smooth mcm hilux.. tapi bile menurun bukit dia auto shit from top to lower gear (mcm waja & audi) .. yg ni Hilux xde…
- seat belakang boleh lipat sepenuhnya kedepan.. manakala seat di tengah (3 seater) boleh di lipat juga sepenuhnya.. jadi mmg ideal utk tido di belakang..
- kalau nk beli rush ni kne mintak toyota install tinted Solar Film utk passenger windows manakala kat depan mintak safe tempter film.. dia membias cahaya lampu di waktu malam.. (mmg terbaik)
- keseimbangan ketika membelok mmg bagus.. sbb dia ada stabilizer bar kat depan manakala kat belakang gune rod.. jadi x membuang.
- dari segi minyak mmg menjimatkan…50 liter.. saya isi full tank (dalam RM90) dari desaru ke KL masih ada dlm 20-25 liter lagi.. boleh pusing2 pegi office 3 hari..
dari segi servis pulak, sbb masa beli saya dapat service voucher RM1,200 so masa pegi servis x payah bayar minyak itam n spare part yg lain selama 2 tahun… dia tolak dari nilai voucher.. dan voucer ni online boleh digunakan di semua pusat servis toyota…

kalau jalan jauh rush mmg minyak jimat….lebih jimat dari wira 1.3m(2nd car aku ada sekarang). yang sedih nya lagi,keta rush aku dah 4 hari dalam w/shop pasal masalah ape aku pun tak tau….tiba2 je mati enjin tgh malam depan kedai rotipaon..

kereta proton yang tahun 80-an tak byk sbb kete proton baru keluar pada tahun 85… toyota dah lama keluar dan org lama dah beli kete tu… haishhh.. tak membzair pun.. sbb kalo beli kete mahal pun, dalam jangka masa 10-15 tahuna kan tukar kete lain jugak.. tak long term pun.. sama juga kalo pakai proton dan perodua.. dlm jangka masa 10-15 tahun akan tukar kereta lain.. ikut kemampuan..
kebanyakan pengguna kereta import akan tukar kereta selepas 5-9tahun guna.. sbb byk duit.. dan yg ramai pakai ialah kerete second hand.. still ok walaupun kete second hand.. sbb kualiti mmg tahan lama..

aku baru je beli rush utk bini aku. harap2 dia puas hati lah guna keta ni dlm 5 tahun akn dtg. sbl ni aku pakai gen2 dan viva. gen2 aku xkan let go sb design dia sporty dan aku suka drive gen2 aku yg dh fully skirt. aku dh kawen tp keta mcm org bujang woo. viva aku dh bagi kt org sambung loan. viva adlh kereta yg paling silap aku beli. mmg jimat myk tp x sdp bw wpun utk short distance. harap2 beli rush ni, bukan kesilapan ke 2 aku.
