BMW Malaysia just launched its new “killer” in luxury car segment which is the 6th generation BMW 5 series 523i 2.5 litre 8 speed auto transmission, 535i twin turbo charged 3.5 litre 8 speed sports auto transmission. – - – -KUALA LUMPUR: The new BMW 5 series is expected to maintain the marque’s foothold in the premium segment which saw 7,735 units sold since 2003 for the previous model.
The previous generation 5 series has since 2003 been at the core of BMW’s success in Malaysia with sales of 7,735, of which 6,732 were locally assembled in Kulim, Kedah.
BMW Group Malaysia managing director Geoffrey Briscoe said the new sixth-generation models were expected to maintain that legacy.

“With an iconic legacy to live up to, the sixth-generation BMW 5 Series is packed to the brim with the latest technological innovations to provide a car that is innovatively stylish, features superior dynamic performance and is fully equipped to satisfy the wide-roaming connected lifestyles of the contemporary professional,” said Briscoe.
Priced at RM398,800 for the 2.5 litre BMW 523i and RM598,000 for the 3.0 litre twin turbo-charged BMW 535i, they are the first cars in their segment to feature an 8-speed automatic transmission, which is available in the BMW 523i, as well as an 8-speed sports automatic transmission, available in the BMW 535i.

Both models feature the latest innovations in BMW EfficientDynamics technology and are also able to generate more power than their predecessors while utilising less fuel with reduced CO2 emissions.
The BMW 535i further boasts a 4-zone automatic air-conditioning system, electric glass roof and BMW’s Navigation Professional system as standard.
It is also fitted with an all-new futuristic multicolor Head-Up Display system which transmits critical information such as vehicle speed, navigational directions and other control indicators directly into the drivers field of vision, ensuring that the drivers attention is always focused on the road.

Sungguhpun yang demikian, aku bangga dgn semua anak2 melayu termasuk aku yang dapat membuktikan pencapaian peribadi dalam apa jua bidang hingga terbeli BMW 6s.
