Proton Persona Envy.
Concept vehicles come and go throughout the car show calendar year. Most often, they never see the light of day in production trim and end up getting crushed or stored in a manufacturer’s warehouse.Here in Malaysia we also have some concept car such as Proton Exora Prime, Proton Exora Prestige, Proton Saga RED, Proton MSX and also Proton Persona Envy.Perodua also has its own concept car which is Perodua Kedidi.Most of the concept car also will be slightly different from the real one that goes for production.

Hafizzudin, an engineer from Perak wants Mazda to release a current-generation U.S. spec Mazdaspeed6 powered by a turbocharged four-cylinder. Shown is a JDM Atenza Mazdaspeed Concept from 2007.
USM student, Alif Hakimi wants Proton to make Proton Exora Prestige into a production line so that it will look like a prime mpv.

Aku nak 2 konsep. 1, konsep ala2 stationwagon. So renti kanlah kuar konsep sedan. Mengapa bazirkan space yg ada atas but? Kasi atas tinggi bagi rata ngan bumbung mcm cam alza. Bayangkan Waja, vios, honda city mcm alza. Klu nak angkut org lebih pun boleh, nak bawak barang lebih pun boleh. Cuma…. jgn jadi cam P2. Klu dah keta tu…. keta lah. Klu nak MPV, buat besar sikit cam GL, CE, Exo….
2nd concept, buat keta yg betul2 compact, sorang je boleh duduk mcm Peel P50. Cuma kena tukar kasi enjin 4 stroke dan tambah aircond, sesuai ngan cuaca Malaysia. Penggunaan minyak yg jimat giler, keta leh bawak masuk rumah. Oleh kerana keta tu kecik dan tak laju, hope JPJ kasi budak sekolah bawak

Proton needs to speed up the conceptualization stage to production more quickly, otherwise current models will become obsolete. The only thing that our local car is able the maintain challanges in current Malaysian market is the taxes & tarifs imposed on foreign cars whether it is CKD or fully imported.
Actually the whole thing is ‘chicken & egg dilemma’ Proton is facing. Without mass economies of production for local as well as for export markets the unit costs remains high. Thats why Protons still needs protection after all these years!
But with continuing protection Proton will never improve to the level it need to challenge the international markets. However currently there is positive signs by hiring international talents/brains to beef up the key positions-Dr Wolfgang Karl Eppel as Director of Quality. There is much more things to do to realize Proton’s full potential.
Perodua Kedidi? So funny name. Design tak mengancam langsung. Exterior seolah olah tak boleh lari dari design kancil yang dulu. Nampak botak je. Kalau beli, sute owner pening kepala nak alter kereta jadi lebih cantik. Proton dah banyak improvement sekarang dari segi design. Perodua ikut taste Ultraman.
