VOLKSWAGEN GROUP MALAYSIA APPOINTS NEW IMPORTER
Volkswagen Group Malaysia has announced the appointment of DRB Hicom Auto Solutions (DHAS) as VGM’s importer as of Apr 1.
DHAS’s business activities will include vehicle importation, logistics, vehicle pre-delivery inspection (PDI) and providing related services to vehicles at its PDI centre.
In related news, VGM also announced that in 2008, the company retailed a total of 920 units, up 22% from the 753 units it did in its first year of operations, in 2007. For the first three months of 2009, the company has been constantly averaging 90 units per month, which should see the overall numbers being maintained this year, depending on market conditions, of course.
