In Dubai, we have the opportunity to see the Renault Clio Sport which has been used as the Yas Racing & Driving School’s primary training vehicle. 2012 Toyota Yaris European version has unveiled based on the Yaris HSD Hybrid prototype that shown last March in Geneva. The car come with more angular headlights and more prominent creases in the body, although the general shape does not stray too much from the previous generation model.

The new Toyota Yaris  the instrument binnacle is no longer placed in the middle of the dashboard but in front of the driver, and has replaced the (sometimes hard to read) digital instruments with conventional gauges. Thus, the driver gains in instrument readability, but on the other hand loses the practical double glove box of the previous Yaris.

2011 PEUGEOT 107 SPORTIUM SPECIAL EDITION

The new Peugeot 107 Sportium Special Edition for the British market, it comes with added equipment features.  The car is available as a three and five door model and a choice of five exterior body colours: Laser Red, Citrus Yellow, Diamond White, Zircon Grey and Electra Blue.

2012 HYUNDAI i40 TOURER

Hyundai i40 Tourer is offered in three trim levels (Active, Style and Premium) and with a choice of four engines including a 1.6-liter petrol (output has not yet been announced), a 1.7-liter diesel with 115HP or 136HP, and a 2.0-liter petrol delivering 177-horsepower. All powerplants come equipped with Hyundai’s start/stop technology.

The car comes with standard features on the Active model include 16-in. alloy wheels, Bluetooth connectivity with voice recognition, leather steering wheel with audio controls, electric heated door mirrors with integrated LED indicators, electric front and rear windows and electric parking brake with automatic hold function. The Style range benefits from touch screen satellite navigation with rear view camera, front and rear parking sensors, cruise control and dual zone climate control.

2012 Hyundai i40 Tourer offers the top-of-the-range Premium models add leather upholstery, a panoramic sunroof, keyless entry and the firm’s so-called supervision instrument cluster with LCD color display, plus the option of the Lane Departure Warning and Smart Parking Assist, heated leather steering wheel and ventilated front seats.

The Volkswagen German group pulled the veils off the Golf R Cabriolet study and meet in the Wörthersee. Using the recently introduced new Golf Cabriolet as a base, the designers and engineers of the Volkswagen R GmbH division built a convertible version of the gutsy Golf R hatchback.

2011 Volkswagen Golf R Cabriolet Concept as a concept car with 270 PS of power and a top speed of 250 km/h; it is a fascinating thought experiment in cabrio dynamics. This “power cabrio” also demonstrates the inexhaustible potential of the Golf.

Like its closed top counterpart, the 199 kW / 270 PS Cabriolet concept races to the 100 km/h mark in less than six seconds. Their top speeds are also identical at 250 km/h. This makes the R Cabriolet the fastest open-top Golf ever. Even more impressive, however, is the engine’s tremendous torque  350 Newton metres from a low 2,500 rpm make this cabriolet an ideal cruiser.

The cabriolet was lowered by 25 mm via a sport chassis. A 17-inch brake system with internally ventilated discs at all wheels and blue painted high-performance brake callipers (including R-logo) enables impressive deceleration values. Making contact to the road surface on the Volkswagen Golf R Cabriolet Concept are 19-inch “Talladega” alloy wheels with size 235 tyres.

MERCEDES BENZ PLANS TO OFFER HYBRID ON C-CLASS LINEUP


The next-generation Mercedes-Benz C-Class lineup will offer hybrid technology. Mercedes-Benz is working hard to lower its CO2 emissions and plans on offering hybrid technology and the goal is drop the Mercedes-Benz C-Class lineup’s fuel consumption down to supermini levels

The most frugal C-Class will be a diesel engined model that is targeting average emissions of 100g/km, while most gasoline version will come in between 110g/km and 120g/km.

It’s still in the prototype which was doing the testing by Mercedes-Benz, but there is still some debate whether the automaker will offer 3-cylinder engines. Also possible are 4-cylinder models equipped with cylinder deactivation technology, while will allow the engine to occasionally run on just two cylinders.

2011 OPEL MERIVA COLOUR EDITION

Opel is enhancing the Meriva small MPV’s range with the presentation of a new special edition model. The Meriva Color Edition is all about contrasting colors. The small MPV model is offered in a choice of five hues for the body Casablanca White, Magma Red, Carbon Grey, Silver Star and Henna.

All of which come with a contrasting high gloss black painted roof, dark tinted headlamps with curve and cornering light and 18-inch two-tone alloy wheels.

The Opel Meriva Color Edition also comes with standard features include includes air conditioning, CD radio, trip computer, leather steering wheel, electric front windows, power mirrors, cruise control, tinted rear windows and Opel’s Flex Rail-center console.
