2011 FORD EDGE IN CHINA

Ford is set to start exporting the 2011 Edge crossover to China. Ford sells other key vehicles like the Fiesta and Mondeo in China, but those vehicles are built in China. The edge is Ford’s only export to China from North America.

Ford expects to sell about 4,000 to 5,000 units a year, but SUVs are the fastest growing segment in China, up 120 percent through July. Ford is currently looking at what other niche vehicles it could start exporting to China.

According to J.D. Power and Associates Ford will double its sales in China over the next seven years. Currently Ford has a 2.6 percent share and ranks 11th in the country.

2011 GMC ACADIA DENALI

Denali version of the Acadia is differentiated from the other Acadia models with a chrome honeycomb grille and monochromatic exterior, 20-inch two-tone chrome wheels, HID headlights, head-up display and heated and cooled driver and passenger seats.

Production of the new 2011 GMC Acadia Denali began at the Lansing Delta Township Assembly plant with the newest model in the Acadia family expected to arrive at U.S. dealerships in late end of this year.

2010 MERCEDES BENZ CL65 AMG BLACK EDITION

Anderson Germany will upgrade both the styling and performance of the Mercedes-Benz CL65 AMG. Tuners will try to make good use of your money and turn Stuttgart’s coupe into something a bit more special.

The engine modifications help push the  V12’s output to 670-horsepower, up from 612HP. It thanks to a remapped ECU along with free-flow air filters and a custom exhaust system with racing catalysts and mufflers. Mercedes-Benz CL65 AMG Black Edition begins by applying a satin black finish that can be complemented by an optional carbon exterior package covering the mirrors, window frames, front grille, door handles, boot trim and all the air vents.

Interior, German tuner applying a new two-tone leather treatment featuring a diamond pattern, carbon fiber trim finish for numerous parts including the mirror, central console and steering wheel, an upgraded audio system and Alcantara on the roof lining and pillars.

2010 JORGE MARTI BOREAS DESIGN STUDY CONCEPT

Quite a unique name, this one is a compact sports coupe named Bóreas after the god of the north wind and bringer of winter in Greek mythology. Have another design proposal for a future Saab model by Jorge Martí Vidal (Spanish designer).

2010 HOFELE PORSCHE PANAMERA

Hofele Design has presented a new styling package rivage GT 970c into the Porsche Panamera. As for the interior, Hofele Design says that upon request, it can upgrade the look of the cabin with new materials and colors.

While Hofele use the body kit put on a new front bumper complete with LED-daytime running lights, a fixed rear spoiler, side skirts and a redesigned rear bumper with additional air vents that bring to mind the Audi R8 and a diffuser.

2011 NISSAN QUEST

The all-new Nissan Quest makes its world debut at the 2010 Los Angeles Auto Show in November and will go on sale at Nissan dealers nationwide in early 2011. Nissan North America, Inc. provided an early look at the next generation Nissan Quest minivan.

The Japanese automaker is still keeping details on the new Quest under wraps, but it is believed that the next generation minivan with sliding rear-doors will be powered by Nissan’s venerable 3.7-liter V6 engine.
