Volkswagen is offering the new Golf 4MOTION in Europe in three equipment versions (Trendline, Comfortline, Highline) and with two equally high-torque, economical turbo diesel engines (TDI). The common-rail four-cylinder 77 kW / 105 PS and 110 kW / 150 hp and consumes only 4.5 respectively 4.7 liters fuel per 100 kilometers.How efficient is the four-wheel drive Golf, a consumption comparison between the retired Golf 4MOTION shows in the 103 kW / 140 hp TDI version and the new 150 hp. The new models are equipped similarly to the standard front wheel drive versions with a start stop system and recuperation. Other standard features are already in the basic version (Trendline) features such as four-wheel EDL (electronic differential locks on both axles), the front and rear axle differential lock XDS, the electronic stabilization program, a multi collision brake, seven airbags, daytime running lights, air conditioning, all-round power windows, a multifunction display (trip computer) and a TFT display with touch screen operation.

2011 OPEL ZAFIRA TOURER CONCEPT

Opel claimed that Zafira Tourer as a “lounge on wheels”, the design study concept uses the same style language as seen on the Insignia and Astra models. The Zafira Tourer Concept is powered by a new version of the Opel’s 1.4-liter gasoline turbo engine featuring Start/Stop technology.

2011 Opel Zafira Tourer Concept makes its world premiere at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show (March 3-13). Exterior detail, the front is the most eye-catching part of the Zafira’s sleek bodywork, with the headlights, LED running lights and the fog lights being united in a boomerang-shaped structure, inspired by the Ampera EV’s fascia. The Zafira sports conventional doors and has a dynamic look due to the ascendent midline and the 20-inch rims.

At the rear end of Opel Zafira Tourer Concept is also sporty, dominated by the high-sitting taillights and the two large exhaust pipes integrated into the rear apron.

Zafira Tourer Concept is equipped the panorama windshield, which is continued by a glass roof covering the entire length of the roof offering an airy interior.

2012 VOLKSWAGEN GOLF CABRIOLET

Volkswagen Golf Cabriolet will release at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show, the car is the two-door four-seater features a soft top with an electro-hydraulic drive that can be raised or lowered in only 9.5 seconds. The process can also be performed during driving at speeds of up to 30 km/h (19 mph).

The new Volkswagen Golf Cabriolet measures 4,215 mm in length, 1,424 mm in height and 1,779 mm in width, meaning its 208mm shorter than the Eos hardtop convertible. However, the two models share a 2,578 mm wheelbase, resulting in the same interior space for all four passengers. According to Volkswagen, with the roof down, the Cabriolet offers 250 litres of boot space.

2012 Volkswagen Golf Cabriolet featuring a unique rear section, lower profile roof line and more swept-back angle of its front windscreen frame. The new Golf Cabriolet gets a pop-up rollover protection system similar to the one found on its sister Audi model, the A3 Convertible. Minus the four-seat layout, the Cabriolet’s interior is identical to Golf hatchback.

For Europe, Volkswagen Golf Cabriolet offers a choice of six turbocharged direct-injection engines whose power outputs range from 105HP to 210HP. These include four petrols (1.2-litre TSI 105HP, 1.4-litre TSI 122HP, 1.4-liter TSI 160HP and 2.0-liter TSI 210HP), and two diesels (1.6-liter TDI 105HP and 2.0-liter TDI 140HP).
