Novitec Rosso has released a performance upgrade package for the Ferrari 599 GTO. Already an amazing car in standard form, the Novitec tuned Ferrari 599 GTO features a twin-supercharged 6.0 liter V12 developing 888 horsepower and 862 Nm of torque

A rated power output of 888 hp / 653 kW, a peak torque of 862 Nm and a top speed in excess of 340 km/h thanks to twin-compressor technology: NOVITEC ROSSO, the world leader in tuning for the sports cars from Maranello, presents an even more powerful and sportier version of the Ferrari 599 GTO in a world debut at the Geneva Motor Show 2011. To further improve the power-to-weight ratio and for even more dynamic handling the two-seater car is equipped with the new, extremely light NOVITEC ROSSO forged wheels.

The NOVITEC ROSSO engine specialists have developed an even more powerful version of the proven twin-compressor six-liter four-valve V12 engine for the sport version of the Ferrari 599. Both high-performance superchargers, driven by a cogged V-belt and lubricated by a dedicated oil circuit, were optimized further. Maximum boost pressure is limited to 0.45 bar.

LAMBORGHINI LP700-4

Fresh new images of Lamborghini’s next supercar the LP700-4 have finally surfaced, this time, completely undisguised. The LP700-4 will be the successor to the aging Lamborghini Murcielago. It is powered by a 6.5-litre V12 engine which develops 700 horsepower (515kW) and 690Nm. 0 – 100km/h takes just 2.9 seconds.

The raging bull will also sit on 19-inch rims at the front and 20-inch rims at the back. Stopping power comes courtesy of massive 400mm carbon ceramic brakes at the front and 380mm at the back. The LP700-4 will be very similar in size to the soon to be superseded Murcielago, except being a little longer.

Weight reduction is the mainstay of most car manufacturers. In a quest to cut weight, the new car will feature a carbon-fibre monocoque chassis. Weight is down from 1,650kg to 1,575kg. Other technologies on the new car include jet fighter style TFT dials and electronically controlled rear spoiler and side intakes.

2010 FORD MUSTANG BOSS 302

American automotive company Ford just announced a new limited edition 2012 Ford Mustang Boss 302. It is the recreation and comeback of the iconic Mustang model, and the Boss 302 will have a refined race-oriented suspension, increased horsepower and a unique Boss Mustang interior and exterior design. The 70s race leader comes back with the modern standards of performance.

Originally created and offered during 1969-1970, the Boss 302 and Boss 429 models were designed to rule road racing. These became classic Mustang models, together with Shelby, GT500, Mach 1 and Bullitt. The new 2012 Ford Mustang Boss 302 is expected to have more horsepower with its 440 HP version of Ford’s 5.0-liter V8, rally-styled rims, hood scoop, upgraded suspension and a themed styling package. However, Ford’s hasn’t announced whether the 2012 Ford Mustang Boss 302 will be just a additional trim package or a completely specialized model.

2010 CATERHAM SEVEN ROADSPORT 125 MONACO

The Caterham Seven Roadsport 125 Monaco remains true to Colin Chapman’s original 1957 design in both its lightweight philosophy and its bespoke, retro styling. It is the latest in a series of entry-level Caterham Special Editions which traditionally suffer little or no depreciation.

Monaco features Caterham’s brushed aluminium bodywork, with black nose and wheel guards, while the familiar red and white of the Monegasque flag form a motif that runs the length of the car.

In the cockpit, the theme is naturally continued, with hand-tailored black leather interior featuring red highlights pairing with the black body trim to capture a colour scheme reminiscent of the roulette wheels found in Casino Square complete the evocative ’50s feel.

Under bonnet, the 1.6-litre Ford engine produces a top speed of 112mph and a power-to-weight ratio of 227bhp per tonne. The 5-speed gearbox propels the lightweight 500kg chassis from 0-60mph in under six seconds and full weather kit means the Roadsport is thoroughly enjoyable in any conditions.
