Naza Kia Sdn Bhd is offering a Limited Edition version of the Citra II Rondo EX and EXS with 13 enhancements that are said to add a sporty and premium touch to the crossover utility vehicle.Both the Rondo EX and EXS variants will feature the new enhancements while the price of both vehicles will be maintained at RM86,088 and RM90,088 respectively.However, Naza Kia will offer these higher specifications for only 300 units of the Rondo, thus increasing the value proposition of the CUV for a limited period.

Below are the 13 enhancements that are said to add:

1) front bodykit
2) side skirt
3) rear skirt
4) rear spoiler
5) door visor
6) wheel arch moulding
7) rear bumper pad
8) chrome tailpipe
9) 9.5-inch overhead screen with DVD player
10) leather seats
11) solar tinting film
12) first aid kit
13) tyre inflator

The Rondo uses the latest 2.0-litre DOHC CVVT engine and shares the same platform as the Kia Optima. Power output from the 4-cylinder engine is 147 ps with 189 Nm of torque, all delivered to the front wheels via a 4-speed automatic transmission. The transmission has a sports mode which alters the shifting characteristics for stronger acceleration when required.

With a five to seven passenger sitting capacity, the Rondo has a five-star frontal crash rating from the United States’ National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.Since its launch in September 2008 until Dec 31, 2009, Naza Kia has sold 1,929 units of the Rondo. For the first four months of this year, Naza Kia has sold 264 units of the Rondo.
