2011 KOENIGSEGG AGERA R

With Ferrari unveiling the FF as the successor to the 612 Scaglietti and Lamborghini unwrapping the cover of the new Aventador LP700-4 at the Geneva Motor Show, Swedish firm Koenigsegg feels the need to pull the trump card.

On display at the Koenigsegg stand is this 1115 horsepower monster, the Koenigsegg Agera R. It features a new 5.0 litre v8 with two turbochargers developing 940 horsepower 1100 Nm on regular fuel and a monstrous 1115 horsepower 1200Nm on bio-ethanol E85.

0-100kph is achieved in under 3 seconds and 200kph is reached in just 8 seconds. No official figure has been released regarding its top speed but tires with speed rating of 419 kph (260 mph) found on the Agera R is enough to indicate its top speed.

620HP ABT AUDI R8 SPYDER  GTS

Audi tuner ABT has unveil a new addition to their customized Audi R8 line up with this brand new ABT R8 V10 Spyder GTS.

According the ABT, many hours of research have been poured into determining the best layout for the carbon fiber panels. The result is a perfect weight distribution and lower center of gravity. Apart from that, the carbon fiber body panels also give the R8 a distinctive and aggressive look.

No ABT tuned Audi is complete without performance gain. The 5.2 liter FSI V10 engine in the ABT R8 produces 620 horsepower, an increase of almost 20% compared to the 525 horsepower of the standard engine. The power improvement comes from an ABT Power Kit which includes an engine retune and a sports exhaust system.

Handling has also been improved with a new suspension setup and the use of light weight alloy ABT BR wheels measuring 9×20 front and 11×20 rear. New rear diffuser and adjustable front and rear spoiler further improves stability and aerodynamic of the R8.

The dry carbon fiber with red paint theme also makes its way into the interior with the seats wrapped in red and black leather. The steering wheel, center console, shifter, safety belts and door panels also spot red carbon inserts.
