New Avanza 2012 features new front and rear bumper, new front headlamp and rear tail lamp, extra long in  dimension to give more boot space. It looks bigger than before.

The new avanza front grilles different between 1.5 G and 1.5 S. It has a new alloy rims 15 ” for new avanza and new fog lamp and side mirror with LED turn signal.

The interior space for passenger in the New Avanza 2012 is quite the same with the old version with the dimension width of 1660mm. The dashboard has a minor changes there with new design panel.

The All New Avanza 2012 uses 3SZ-VE engine for Auto transmission 4 speed 1.5 litre VVT-i toyota engine while K3-VE for it’s new Avanza 1.3E 1.3 litre  with 5 speed manual transmission which puts out only 91 PS of horsepower and 117 Nm of torque. It is ok with 5 passenger with it’s 1070kg of curb weight which is considered light such as a sedan but quite sluggish when you carry around more than 5 passenger.

 The New Avanza 2012 price starts from around RM63k for manual transmission 1.3 litre up to RM78k for the full spec 1.5S auto transmission. The standard solar film can be purchased at RM 1400.00 while bodykit or aerokit for new Avanza can be bought at RM1900.00. The current interest rate is below 3% per year and monthly payment (bayar bulanan) installment starts at around RM600 for manual up to around RM800 for full spec auto depends on how much you put for down payment which is usually 10%.

AIRCOND KURANG SEJUK – CAR AIR CONDITIONING PROBLEM

Mengapa aircond saya bila tgh hari lambut sejuk. termo dah dua kali tukar. tapi aircond tak sejuk. gas dah tambah pun sama juga. ada masa keluar wap walau pun hari panas. Apa masalah tu sebab aircond tak sejuk ya?

KDI : Car Air conditioning system not producing cool air may be due to several factors. try to troubleshoot from the easiest way which is usually the cabin air filter. it is located under the dashboard front passenger side. When the filter clogged with too much dirt, the air flow is reduced thus reducing the cool air supplied to your car cabin. if you’ve cleaned the filter, but the problem still happen, go to your nearest air cond workshop, bengkel pendingin hawa kereta and ask for air cond gas refill or check if there is any leak along the air cond hose or tubing, check the operation of the compressor and any component related to air cond system.

 Below is the list of Perodua Alza Problem and how to solve the problem :
1) Masalah Bunyi – Bunyian dari tingkap
- Punca : ia dtg dari cermin kecil sebelah side mirror sebelah kanan.. dan dia ckp keluaran tahun 2010, masalah ni takkan timbul. [ty: bro @sacredturd]
- Penyelesaian : hantar ke SC letak silikon Hitam 2 settle. * info : @obes295
 
2) Bila Brek Berbunyi
- Punca : tidak pasti sama ada berpunca daripada keadaan brek yang masih baru.
- Penyelesaian : Tunggu Respon daripada HQ Service Center
 
3) Bunyi Enjin Kuat pada kelajuan 110-130
- Punca : ?
- Penyelesaian : Tunggu Respon daripada HQ Service Center
 
4) 3rd Row Seat side Kanan Panas bila Pemanduan lama
- Punca : ekzos di bawah seat tu sebabkan kepanasan?
- Penyelesaian : Tunggu Respon daripada HQ Service Center atau ianya adalah kes terpencil?
 
5) Bila hujan turun bunyi bising dari atas kereta Alza macam duduk dalam rumah beratap zink. Dah pergi ke SC Perodua (servis pertama 1000km)
- Punca : dan jawapannya bunyi tu sama dengan semua kereta keluaran Perodua. Kalau betul pun saya tak ada masaalah dengan kereta Proton (tak kan Proton lebih baik ?).
- Penyelesaian : Pergi buat sound insulations
 
6) Rustproff bawah kereta Alza tak dibuat 100% covered. Saya jumpa few sections di undercarriage yang tak di spray dengan rustproof coating. Potential untuk berkarat.
- Punca: robotic spraying program tak betul.
- Penyelesaian : -
 
7) Paint coating yang tak sama tebal (nipis pada bahagian bend) pada badan kerata Alza.
- Punca: robotic spraying program tak betul.
 
8) Bila Pasang Aircond Berbunyi Cit Cit Cit (mcm tikus)
- Punca : Aircond Belt tidak ketat
- Penyelesaian : hantar SC dan suruh ketatkan tali belt.

Fuel Economy Tips – Penjimatan Minyak Petrol

Because of fuel price increased, we need to consider more on how we can use our car with the most fuel economy strategy. below are usefull tips to save your fuel and also your money.

1) Make sure tyre pressure is correct. This is very important.

2) Try to drive with very light foot. Dont go over rev your engine. As long as your car can go with the lowest RPM is the best way to make your car fuel economic. For manual, try to use higher gear most of the time. For Auto, put your foot slowly to increase speed, dont accelerate fast.

3) Service car on time. Best 5,000km. It will make your engine running smooth again and restore it’s fuel economy features. Change the oil filter, engine oil and airfilter!

4) Wash your car at least once a month. You will feel the different.

5) Dont use aircond if possible. If not, just put the aircond to the minimum level. While cruising, better use aircond than open your window to reduce the aerodynamic drag and your car can run faster with better aerodynamic.

6) Start engine and drive slowly with normal RPM. No need to warm up or “panaskan” enjin because it will consume your fuel without any kilometres.

7) Every 2 service, get some oil treatment to treat your engine back to its optimum performance.

8) For long distance travel, choose to travel at night or at low temperature day. your engine will suck cool air and it will be more efficient.

9) Dont forget to clean your throttle body (for fuel injection car) and carburator intake with special cleaning spray cost about RM10 per can only. To remove all carbon that makes your engine perfomance drop against engine running period.

Alternative ways to save fuel :

1) Install NGV (Natural Gas) – It will cost around RM2k to 9k but you save more than that on your fuel consumption. RM1 can go up to

2) Buy most fuel efficient car > kancil, kelisa, viva, savvy, honda city i-dsi, hybrid car such as honda civic hybrid.

3) Get better air filter such as K&N > high flow of air will increase better combustion (drop in type is better for fuel economy)

Tips penjimatan petrol di atas terbukti berkesan dan merupakan cara terbaik untuk menjimatkan petrol. Jika ada cara lain untuk menjimatkan minyak, sila kongsikan bersama dalam ruangan komen di bawah.
