RON95 = UPGRADED RON92 & RON97 = UPGRADED RON95?

My friend who have relatives that manage a few petrol pump station in Johor gives the confirmation of the statement that ” RON97 is actually an upgraded version of RON95 while RON95 now is the upgraded version of RON92″. This means that the the RON number is upgraded by adding additive. Maybe the specification didn’t meet the requirement of standard actual pure RON95 or RON97.
If we think again, why certain cars have so much different in performance and fuel consumption while the difference of RON number is just “2″ from 97 to 95? Maybe it is true that the RON95 is actually a RON 92 which has been added with additive to boost the octane number (octane booster). So the petrol station, government and the oil company have a higher profit instead of less profit by taking pure RON97 and RON95 (or maybe the actual higher RON is produced by using additive to lower RON?). Hmm.. What do you think? Sorry if i am wrong but this is the actual info from the manager of petrol pump itself.

if this is the case, the we ought to send some samples to an independent body to research the fuel contents.

Dalam forum2 di internet terdapat testimoni yang penggunaan RON95 menimbulkan beberapa simptom yang menjejaskan prestasi kenderaan kita. Ke manakah saluran yang perlu kita nyatakan agar RON95 ditambahbaik? Perlu adanya kajian saintifik oleh institusi yang bebas agar perkara ini boleh dipanjangkan kepada pihak yang ada kuasa dalam mengubah harga + kualiti bahanapi.
Pertanyaan yang muncul adakah RON95 benar2 berkualiti + sesuai dengan kenderaan kita?
Syarikat2 petroleum juga banyak melakukan gimik melalui iklan mereka dgn menyatakan kebaikan produk mereka yang lebih kepada faktor merebut pelanggan + keuntungan.
Kalau kita cadangkan pembangkang dan persatuan pengguna bongkar kes ini…baru boleh jalan.

Tipu je proton.. Enjin awal 70an-90an kbnyakan guna sistem ron97.. Sebab 2 enjin dulu power gila2 cam 4ag. Saga lama model lahir pada tahun 1988 dimana era enjin besi(toyota dx) dimana guna ron97.. Sebab 2 sape gatal2 isi ron92(itu zaman dulu) enjin cepat rosak.. Just my 2 cents. Google is my friend.
No wonder my fuel consumption has increased and little did I realise that this disguisting government is cheating the motorists. Can we the motorists get together and take action against the disguisting government and the petroleum companies for misleading and cheating the motorists?
Before we do that, we need to send the samples to an independant laboratory for testing.
I hope the consumer associations will take up this issue.
It does make sense….try buy octane booster from TESCO outlet..look for ‘Nitrous Express Octane Booster’ NE…pour it and u feel the difference…Klu upgraded version pon mmg mcm tu ja pon minyak dibeza kn antara syarikat pengeluar minyak…it’s only the additive…pakai ron95 cr octane booster tmbh…klu dia ckp boost by 6 point dh jadi RON101 cari v-power RON98+6point octane booster=?? sendiri mau ingat la…TETAPI…boleh ka engine kereta maximizing all the octane in the fuel???…klu kelisa ka kancil ka BMW ka what is the maximum octane points can engine digest in the combustion chamber??klu engine tu leh maximize octane usage up to RON99 memadai la pakai ron95 then add up octane booster dan check minimum engine requirement..Kancil 660cc RON89 is the minimum RON usage..pakai RON97 buat apa??klu dh kaya sgt why dont pakai kan?performance utk race ka?? keta track pon pakai RON100 and ecu bleh manage utk utilize semua octane dlm fuel tu….
aku takkan pki dah ron 95. aku kena dah bila isi ron 95 keta aku jadi semput2..pick up drop terus. pastu nak take over ya allah…nak nangis tekan pedal keta tak larat nak potong..korang jaga2 lah ron 95 ni..(mana keta yg required ron 97 jek la).. kita dah kena tipu ni bro…aku pki wira se standard jek…
