NAZA SUBSIDIARY DONATES RM100,000 FOR FLOOD VICTIMS
Naza Automotive Manufacturing (NAM), the manufacturing arm of the Naza Group, has donated RM100,000 to the ‘Tabung Bencana NSTP-Media Prima’. The donation is to assist in providing much needed aid to flood victims in Kedah, Perlis and Kelantan.
Thousands in Kedah, Perlis and Kelantan have been displaced following massive floods which began in the three states a week ago, a plight which has had nationwide attention. NAM, being in Gurun, Kedah, is in the vicinity of the floods.
NAM CEO, SM Nasarudin, said the donation is part of the Naza Group’s efforts in raising emergency funds and providing assistance to victims of the floods. “Our thoughts are with those affected by the floods. We hope this donation will provide some much-needed aid to the victims,” he said.
The ‘Tabung Bencana NSTP-Media Prima’ was launched on November 3rd and has been raising funds to provide humanitarian essentials such as food items and drinking water, hygiene kits, blankets, baby food/formula, diapers and other basic necessities.
Members of the public who wish to donate to the ‘Tabung Bencana NSTP-Media Prima’ can do so by depositing their donation to Maybank account number 5-14105-32075-7. You can also write a cheque or bank draft payable to ‘Tabung Bencana NSTP-Media Prima’ and send it to the Finance Department of the NSTP at 31 Jalan Riong, 59100 Kuala Lumpur.
