Basically, this proton waja is a prototype from Proton for the rally concept car. With simple touch and really designed to be a rally car that maintained the main characteristic of “rally”. Photo taken by KDI editor during proton technology week in Shah Alam.
From exterior, not so much different with standard proton waja. But we can see the intercooler from the front grill which means that this waja rally is modified to fit as a rally car.
This is the back portion of the rally car. Its totally empty.
Same goes to the main interior part of the waja rally, its empty without any accessories to reduce the weight to minimum and this can increase the performance. You can see that there is tough safety steel rod mounted around the cabin of the car to protect the rally driver and provide strength of the car.
Only basic element left in the driver’s compartment.
