Here we attach sample copy of summons letter / surat saman PDRM Polis Diraja Malaysia, compound due to traffic offences. It is a piece of paper with 2 page which contain 2 parts. First page is about the “Demand for driver’s particulars Section 115 Road transport Act 1987″ (permintaan butir pemandu seksyen 115 akta pengangkutan jalan 1957) and the other 2nd page is about “Offer to compound traffic offences” (tawaran kompaun kesalahan trafik lalu lintas) . This summon notification letter should be delivered within 1 month after the summon is issued.
PDRM SUMMON TICKET – SURAT SAMAN POLIS
The first page state the detail of vehicle including photo captured by speed camera, details of owner and the traffic offences reported by PDRM officer. This part requires you to reply the details required which is details of the driver to Ketua trafik pasukan Ibu Pejabat Polis Bukit Aman within 7 days from the date given.
If you found that the details is true and you have made the traffic offences, you can make immediate payment via myeg or any payment method. Above is screenshot of myeg.com.my. The summon already listed in the myeg database and you can make immediate payment using myeg via maybank2u etc.
The 2nd page state the amount of summon / compound that you need to pay. In this section, PDRM list down the offer to settle down the summon (diskaun bayaran saman trafik) which is starting from RM150 if you pay within 15 days, RM200 within 30 days or maximum without offer / summon discount is RM300 for speeding exceed speed limit (saman memandu pandu melebihi had laju)

The charges is rm150 for below 14 days. Will PDRM give discount?
Is the 1st page the part that require reply detail of driver within 7 days necessary submit to Ketua Traffic Pasukan, Bukit Aman? Can i use fax the detail to Ketua Traffic Pasukan? Can i ignore it if i directly pay the summons through online banking?
By right, there is no discount lower than 150. But u can try to get discount if you know someone.

Good Morning. May I check with you, if I pay the summon straight away through on-line now. Do I still need to fill up the details within the 7 days and send back to Ketua Trafik Pasukan at Bukit Aman? Please reply soones possible, thank you very much.
