NZ Wheels Expects To Meet 1,000-Unit Target

KLANG, Oct 20 (Bernama) — NZ Wheels Sdn Bhd, one of the Mercedes Benz dealers in Malaysia, hopes to meet it sales target of 1,000 units of the German marque this year amid the slowdown in the local motor vehicle market, said its chief executive officer, SM Faisal SM Tan Sri Nasimuddin.

“Basically in 2008 we are targetting 1,000 units. We have achieved 80 percent of the target,” he told Bernama here recently.

He said there was still a demand for Mercedes cars due to the loyal following of the Malaysian customers.

SM Faisal said NZ Wheels would like to maintain the same sales target and focus on customer satisfaction next year.

“As a commitment to increase customer satisfaction, RM3 million was invested to make the showroom here, NZ Wheels Klang Autohaus, the most comprehensive Mercedes-Benz lifestyle showroom in Malaysia,” he said.

He said the Klang showroom, which was relaunched last Saturday, would be the only Mercedes-Benz showroom that would display the full range of the models including the latest SL 63 AMG, CL 500 and GL450.

“The Autohaus also features a Mercedes-Benz merchandise retail outlet, personalised delivery bay, cafe bar, indoor garden and service centre.

On why Klang was picked to relaunch the Autohaus, he said NZ Wheels was set up in the town in 1994 and has a large customer base here as well as in Shah Alam.

“Besides Klang, NZ Wheels has showrooms in Johor Bahru, Kuantan and Labuan,” he said.
