Nissan preview their latest model, new Nissan Latio / Tiida turbo in Shanghai recently and here we got some images and specification of new Latio from our visit at the autoshow.
The dimension of New Latio / Tiida = 4295mm length, 1760mm width, 1520 height. It has 52L tank capacity with fuel efficient engine. Debut in China in April 2011, this new facelift and replacement of current Nissan Latio / Tiida got a very nice front and rear design which is really amazing compare to the first model of Latio / Tiida.
NEW NISSAN LATIO / TIIDA TURBO
Nissan introduced its latest Tiida hatchback model to China Tuesday at the 14th Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition, part of a global segment update reaching the world’s fastest-growing major car market.
The world premiere of the new Tiida hatchback is expected to lead to sales of 300,000 units annually by 2014 in some 130 countries.
The earlier hatchback sold 85,000 units in China last year, while the Tiida model is the best-selling in the current Nissan global product lineup.
Nissan will be the first Japanese automaker to bring a turbo engine vehicle to China, the world’s biggest car market with an estimated 13.7 million passenger vehicles sold in 2010, up over 30 percent on year.
The Nissan hatchback debut, followed by introduction of the Versa sedan model at the New York Auto Show, helps to refreshen the B & C segments of the global car market, responsible for 1.5 million vehicle sales.
The Tiida will be produced at the Dongfeng Nissan Huadu factory in Guangzhou, with the first car due in late May.
Tiida debuted in China in August 2005, the first hatchback introduced to the market, and was named “Car of the Year” in 2006.
The latest hatchback model is aimed at redefining the segment once more with a best-in-class fuel efficiency and a continuously variable transmission, while select models of the new Tiida fully meet the stringent third phase fuel-efficiency requirements in China.
