NAZA CEO TO CHAIR MALAYSIAN-FRENCH COMMERCE CHAMBER
NAZA Group of Companies executive chairman and chief executive officer SM Nasaruddin SM Nasimuddin has been appointed as chairman of the Malaysian-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MFCCI).
In his maiden speech as MFCCI chairman, Nasaruddin said he will do his utmost through the chamber, to assist French and Malaysian companies to take full advantage of the business opportunities available.
“Looking at what we have done with automobiles Peugeot in such a short time, I believe the potential for further business between France and Malaysia is huge,” he said at a luncheon organised by MFCCI in conjunction with the presentation of the appointment letter in Kuala Lumpur yesterday.
Naza has been automobiles Peugeot’s partner here since 2006.
Meanwhile, Mukhriz said French companies should seize the opportunities of Malaysia’s recent policy of liberalising 27 sub-sectors in the services sector.
“We hope with the help from the French services companies, they can help us upgrade in capacity and quality so that we can export our services up to mark of the international standards,” he said.
