LET’S HELP OUR FRIEND : KANCIL 660 PROBLEM

Today we have some topic that we want to share with all of you.Here we have Mr.Syahir Wahab who have¬† problem with his 660 Perodua Kancil.We know that there are a lot of expertise out there who have experienced many problems regarding cars. So, let’s share your opinion with us and solve the problem of Mr. Syahir Wahab.

Mr.Syahir’s Message: Saya ade Perodua Kancil 660.Baru-baru nih kereta saya semput (jerking) tiba-tiba.Kelajuan kereta pula tidak boleh melebihi 60km/j.Kalau lebih kereta akan tersengguk seperti minyak tidak sampai ke enjin dan macam tidak ade power kat spark plug.Keadaaan tu makin teruk dan enjin sekejap mati dan hidup.Tetapi bila dalam keadaan berhenti dan enjin “idle” semuanya ok.Jadi saya telah bawa kereta saya ke bengkel.

Mekanik telah buat pemeriksaan dan mereka telah menggantikan:-

1.Fuel Filter.

2.Spark Plug.

3.Contact Point.

Selepas itu kereta elok dan tidak semput lagi.Tapi cuma bertahan selama sehari sahaja.Sebaik sahaja enjin panas dan dimatikan, enjin tidak dapat dihidupkan semula.Tetapi sebaik sahaja Contact Point dibersihkan dengan kertas pasir enjin elok semula.Dalam masa seminggu selepas ke bengkel, kereta saya semput dalam 4 kali.Saya hantar semula kereta saya ke bengkel untuk diperiksa, mekanik cuma ‘adjust’ contact point dan bersihkannya.Selepas itu mekanik menggantikan Condenser (capasitor) yang ada di tepi distribution cap tu dengan yang baru. Kereta saya kembali normal. Saya ade membaca di forum lain mengenai masalah ini.Mereka kata masalah ini biasa bagi Kancil 660.Harap pihak KDI boleh kongsi masalah saya dengan pembaca lain.

Iz: Thank you Syahir Wahab for sharing your problem with us.It’s true that your problem is a common problem for some 660 Kancil owner.There are a lot of other forums already talk about this. From our research, only the 660 Kancil using contact point / contact breaker while the 850 Kancil using electronic distributor ignition system.That’s why the 850 Kancil have not much problem like the 660 Kancil.In that forums also there are a lot of suggestions — to change the contact point / contact breaker with the electronic distributor ignition system. Most of them give good feedback after change it with the electronic distributor. That’s only our words based on information in some forums.For us, usually when this problem happened we will do same as your mechanic – we will do some troubleshooting – replace fuel filter, check the spark plug, distribution cable connection and also contact point, and lastly the condenser. For some expertise out there who have experience maybe you can share your opinion with us. =)

    periksa saluran minyak petrol dan petrol filter (kotoran pasir atau tisu) …kemungkinan semput disebabkan minyak tak sekata diterima untuk pembakaran engine menyebabkan engine semput atau minyak langsung tak sampai (walaupun tangki penuh minyak petrol)…bayangkan bila anda menyebut straw yang ada biji kacang atau jagung…dapat air susu putus2…semoga dapat membantu..

    sbb tu minyak smpai n xsmpai..
    ke2 bro tgk dkt kaburetor..buterfly choke dia trbka tak mse start..

    saya ada pengalaman kerita semput tak dapat naik bukit kerana pada saluran minyak atau tangki memang kotor dengan cebisan kecil tisu. juga periksa juga air filter mana tau semasa cuci injin kerita air ada bertakung dibawah filter dan akan masuk mengganggu pembakaran/combustion…

    Hi i own kancil 660 and apart from the problem shared about the jerking that most people face i experience another problem which drive me crazy…my car get noisy when i switch on d aircond…brought to 3 auto service shop but each telling different solution;cleaning carburator, resistor,and change amplifier…i am too confused coz i am finding for a good solution..can you hel0?
