Kereta u baru 2 minggu beli and x pe u dah tukar t/belt,its additional bonus untuk u, kalau dia putus lagi demam u di buatnya .Kena standby at least 5-6k fr repairs.
Ok I assume yr mechanic pasang belt tu in a correct setting/ inlet/oulet marking.Kalau ur RPM still masih menggila u mesti cepat replace
INACTUATOR IDLE SPEED parts yg terletak pada throttle body yg dah jammed, Itu sebab rpm u x consistence and need to be rectified asp.
lagi satu yr auto lock mmg dah rosak to three of yr door, replace Lock actuator on each door and its solve ur problem. Ini lah nasib dan bahana kita beli sec hand cars where semua harus id service dan dibaiki dan kita tidak tahu asal usul history tuan kereta yg asal.

Kalau u nak pakai brake pad used ORI brake pad which is specified fr our spectra, its content of micro ceramic compound ,less dust,rims not dirty,no screeching noise,and secure ur rotor disc,If u need the b/pads just sms me 019-7833001. tq

At least semasa mileage u 20k km u mesti tukar 4 litres Ori Kia SP111, but sadly they even dont remind/ informed u.I have set the booking on the respective workshop and my son will assits u there…..Happy Motoring and have a pleasant drive ahead….

1. Buat Flushing (12 litres) Ori Kia SP 111 transmission Oil- specially for Kia Auto Gear.

1. Must Install a/cond cabin filter – D.i.y. located glove compartment
1. Replace or Service brake pads/ used ori Kia Brake Pads/ no noise/screeching/ Prevent ur Rotor Disc uneven due to cheap pads/

Well u did change the engine mountings, harga ? Ok bro bila u accelerates suddenly kereta u bergegar….Yes ada 2 kemungkinan
1. Engine mountings yg ijoy07 pasang tu x original parts.
2. Yr front Driveshafts.
Yang paling kuat symptoms nya ialah drivehafts Bro yang belah dalam attach dgn gear transmission.Ada ramai members spectran telah mengadu soalan ini dan bila saya suruh tukar driveshaft baru kiri/kanan masaalah semua selesai.
Gegaran pada engin kereta menyerap terus ke body kereta macam rattling/shake bila kita main pick-up sekitar 50kmh-60kmh ,bila rpm naik kerata mula rasa gegar dan bila dah top speed ia akan hilang……Bro cepat tukar driveshaft dan abg azmie nasihatkan jangan beli yg tiruan/recond parts.Ia akan jadi balik dengan masa yang singkat.
Ini menunjukkan Driveshaft kereta Ijoy ,sebelan inner part yg dah wear & tear.Kalau rosak belah luar outer-part sebelah tayar, kita bx payah tukar the whole driveshaft/ cuma tukar C.V. Joint sahaja.
Maksudnya:-
Klu engine bergegar bila tarik pic-up – Shaft belah dalam dah rosak/ ada freeplay /tu yg gegar.- Tukar semua Driveshafts
Klu Bila Kita pusing /belok u turn – bunyi tak.tak.tak…-itu out part shaft bearing dah rosak dan cv boot mesti dh koyak juga- Tukar CV joint je.
klu Engine mounting kita dan rosak- Bila tiba traffic light- gear kita kat “d”position , the whole dashboard/steering yang kita pegang rasa getaran/gegar- ini sbb engine mounting kita 4 biji getah dah pecah/ cuba tolak pada free gear “N’ ia akan hilang sebab x de torque.
So bro Ijoy nampaknya awak kena tukar drive-shaft depan/ kiri /kanan supaya antara gear trans shaft dengan driveshaft akan lebih parah jika di biarkan lama.

To announce to all members dont ever buy local/cina parts which cheap and will make ur car more worst….
As this morning I had a brief talk with Bro Ijoy frm JB claiming his car vibrate while accelerating……As discovered he had bought a local /fake Engine mounting which deliberately origin frm cina and its just such a waste of time/money but the worst part, what the problem arised couple of weeks/months.
I hereby whenever you want to buy ori parts make sure its from a reliable sources like our naza s/centre but for sure u will have a whole in ur pocket if visit them !!!!!!!$$$$$$$.Thats why I personall get involved and fully committed my time to address all the muslim spectrans the most to be more careful and ask in this forum,but most of them straight away call me for advised and get all the ori/genuine parts frm me.
This is a good lesson for us and we can share all expertice and experience in due course…….Anyway guys need any info/solution do just leave ur no in this forum or call Abg Azmie fr assistance. tq. 019-7833001/017-7200466

Bro Azmiee, my spectra bila parking, then tarik hand brake & gear position P, kalau tolak kereta dari belakang, kereta bergerak dengan slow & bunyi bising dekat area disc brake tu!!!!! Apa yang tak kena? Padahal baru tukar brake pad bulan 1 hari tu………..

It’s been a very joyful ride since the maintenance made by Abg Azmie recommendation and advise. If you guys do follow on my post and previous jumps surely you’ll know what are the things that I’ve been complaining about and how they are solved one by one. So recently (last week actually) had my rear lamp change due to wear and tear. I do miss the ‘moving aquarium’ though haha. The other issues was the disturbing sound coming from the exhaust pipe/system (I assume) and the front noise. It doesn’t bother me much actually but since my last visit to a workshop in Putrajaya and the mechanic told me to listen carefully to the engine noise, it bugs me a lot knowing that other people are pointing at my car. So Abg Azmie delivered me a straight-flow resonator (if I get and spell it right) and with the help from Hafis, I had a new improved exhaust system. Taking the ride that very evening was fun and adrenaline rush was everywhere, the pick-up was there, the ’sporty’ sound was there and the car move or glide better.
But sad to say that I’m a very conventional type of person whom like his ride to be smooth and as quiet as possible. The sound of air flow was nice (even my younger brother loves it) but I can’t handle it well. So the next day I went to my local workshop for a check-up and they (I also was under the car at that time) pointed out that the sound was actually coming from the new resonator. I know it will be costly since I just changed it yesterday but I decided to get a fix. So I’m replacing the new straight-flow resonator with a new one (similar to original KIa parts) thus the issues was solved. Take another round of spin with the mechanic, we figured out there are still a little noise coming from the front-right of the car. It was the engine mounting and get it changed. Mechanic even made me put my hand on the mounting when the engine is running so I can feel the differences between all 4 mountings and the vibration came from the right piece.
Gladly I’m very happy now with my Arctic-Blue Novus as it drove me smoothly (thanks to the tricore cable and iridium spark plug plus the other maintenance Abg Azmie advise me to do) more pick-up (even more if I stick to the straight-flow resonator) and only the engine growling (fixed the mounting and exhaust system). Knowing that my car will not fail me during Syawal is a therapy that I need. So I still have the resonator with me and willing to give it away, it’s still in very good condition (like new) since I just using it for a day and if you need more info on the advantages of using this straight-flow resonator do consult with Abg Azmie.
That’s all for now, I’ll update later in my next jump. last but not least, last 2 days (Sunday) I pour in BHP infiniti2x 95 at RM1.85 per liter to test on the new German additive technology and how the engine responded. I’ll give you my report on my next jump or until my next fuel up. Have a safe journey !

ada masalah la dgn spectra i, setiap kali start ada bunyi kuat macam cencurut./ tikus menjerit..hari tu i dah tukar alternator & aircond belt, order dr abg azmie..sekarang mileage 80K..dan i pernah tukar timing belt masa 60K dulu..adakah itu bunyi timing belt?..

En. Rizzal, dulu pun kereta saya pun ada bunyi macam tu lepas tukar timing belt. Rupa-rupanya timing belt tu orang tu pasang tak ketat. Dah lah pasang dekat kedai “Kia Specialist”. Memang bunyi macam tikus dalam 5-6 saat pastu bunyi tu takde.
Cuma nak tanya En. Azmi, ada apa-apa implikasi ke dari segi lifespan belt tu atau apa-apa kalau timing belt pasang tak ketat?”

Well Im not sure whenever theres a new ori performance parts introduce. this culprit will easily tampered with the original/genuine parts.Bro this facts and wheather its liable or not…. its up to individuals. This kind of scenario is very common in our country and to tell u I get it from Spore where they dont even got a space for fake/immitation parts.Again its up to individuals wheather want to use it and face any sequences in default to other part of our engine…….Be smart bro….

I nak tanya brake pad apa u pakai?? Yang fully ori kia or more or less cap ayam ones!! sorry bro, this is facts as our spectra is very sensitives on brake pads. screeching sound/ uneven brake pad/ uneven rotor disc.
Anyway abg azmi harap u could service back ur brakes / buat flushing minyak brake/ service calipers/ checked pin sliders dan worn out/ checked bush/ seals pecah/ lastly dah rectified buat BLEEDING on all4 tyres. Then adjust ur hand brakes cable/ u kena tarik 3 click je and kereta akan tidak bergerak.
Punca bunyi adalah brake pad x rata/ rotor disc x rata- kalau belum pernah buat skimming mesti buat. Abg azmie nasihatkan lebih baik guna ori kia brake pad sbb ia lembut and contains ceramic compound.Kalau pakai pad murah ia buat dari abuk abestos dan sgt keras yg boleh rosakkan dinding rotor disc……harap bubu dapat hubung azmi kalau nak penjelasan yg lebih detail.

As u know banyak members complaint ada bunyi tikus …chit chit chit bila idling kereta. Yes ini menunjukkan tensioner bearing kita mungkin dah worn out and make the belt either tegang/ atau kendur. Ini akan menghasilkan bunyi. Jika di biarkan lama kelamaan belt kita akan expand atau memanjang sedikit due to extreme heat.Bila kita pandu laju @ 120kmh-150kmh, macam mana keadaan t/belt tu , hanya masa saja yang menentukan split second bila ia terlepas dari one of the camshaft pulley ….it will snap back…..what happen $$$$$$$$
Jangan take for granted perkara ni once it snap off theres no turning back…. Ramai yang dah lalui perkara ni bercerita dengan saya dan this is why abg azmie nasihat 3 pillars yang perlu kita ambil berat.
1.Timing Belt
2.Gear Box system
3, A/cond sistem
Semua ni berkait antara parts yang lain. So members semua as BRO Shaiful cakap, just becoz of few hundred and we will fork out thousand of ringgit. Yup ur right Bro. Ori kia T/belt mesti mechanic yg bertauliah saja boleh kendali kia spectra kita, kenapa? Our Engine is DOCH engine running by two camshaft pulley ie Twin Cam. So setting /marking mesti sama and kalau missed satu gigi ,timing kita akan turun naik sikit x consistence.
Kedua kia tensioner bearing pun main peranan /technichian ni mesti pandai setting tegang/atau kendur kedudukan belt tu.Kalau terlalu tegang belt tu akan bunyi berdengun/ dan jika longgar sikit pun ia akan bunyi mcm tikus…..cit cit.
Apa yang abang azmie dah experience tentang Dayco Timing Belt,. Semasa kereta saya at 50k km ,sy tukar pada Dayco T/belt. Its a high temp belt and can withstand extreme heat and coated with Teflon.Tensioner bearing is self adjust x payah nak adjust as when pulley dah marked and setting just glide the t/belt to its position and its done.Why ? becoz Dayco R/D had made the self setting on the tensioner bearing to its fine positions and no need to adjust / but different to our ori ones.
Thats why bila setting tensioner bearing tu terlalu longgar /masaalah besar akan timbul/ takut ia akan SLIP OFF dari one of the PULLEY and apa yang u tahu lepas tu…….$$$$$$
Thats why abg azmie will recomend DAYCO T/BeLT i/o Ori ones. Tentang warranty ori one -can lasted 60000km but at 50k km adviseable to replace. Untuk Dayco pula ia memberi jaminan sehingga 100k km
Members semua baca lah komen semua spectran kita yang telah gunakan Dayco Belt seperti Bro Shaiful/ Bro Ameer frm JB/ dan ramai lagi frm kuantan/trengganu/ ipoh/ kluang/ spg rengam Bro Ashraf/ etc etc……semua nyatakan engin senyap dan smooth. Abg azmie dah pakai Dayco second set till now….and will continue forever Iguess……

As today got few parts for Bro Ramzi where we had a conversation over the phone and he decided to replace his shocks/ engine mounting/ front bearing(heavy duty) with oil seals/ a/cond cabin filter/ auto filter/gasket/kia sp111 gear oil/brake pad.
Well bro, Ive pack ur parts in two parcel and will couriered it tommorow.Insyaallah will recvd it on friday. tq

To tell u the truth,the point they want to do is to make business and take fullest opportunity on us.In fact they seems dont bother what impact will happen to our cars or vice versa, Thats why these culprit is their game in winning their goals.
Bro, be specific and alert at all times ,dont panic as if anything happen to u in the future u got at least a fren to ask/ share/ and hear too.
Basically Abg mie also was conned by them and from now I really learn a lesson.From my experience the best way to solve our problems is share among ourselves as I did join the Spore Kia Club.and gained experience from the sifu;s. Guys go fr originals ……
Secondly how much HP can u gain from a mannual transmission? Again bro dont put more pressure on yr head, as our car was design for auto transmission and to convert to mannual is possible and I want to asked u ,how much do u willing to spend ? And if u opted for mazda/ford engine ,as is these engine are new or bought from a junkyard!!!. Bro Ijoy, to my personal point of view please dont mess up with these thing, as it wont make u anything good…..Why these engine is much more older than our spectra as it will cost u a fortune bro…..
In Spore , most of them are auto but they rebuid their engine in a proper manner, install unichips/ turbos/superchargers and lots of gadgets….If ure in this field u ought to have extra budget to convert/ install these super performance parts, done by a qualified /specialized tech.In us our Spectra is named Kia Shuma and they can opt for mannual and auto as well.Ijoy just FORGET about these……
From now do go for yr basic maintenance and service anytime the mileage clock in. From what we had the telephone conversations, next step I will bring u to a workshop that are specialized in auto transmission to refurbish yr gear box sistem.Flush in a proper way using ori Kia SP111 not DEXTRON 111.As dextron is a lower grade oil and not suitable for spectra transmission, coz of different viscosity and additives.
Hope after raya do install yr a/cond cabin filter to safe guard yr cooling coil and also yr a/cond system.
Lastly bro , Im proud to have a spectran fren frm JB/kl/east coast/sabah /sarawak and will share and hear their problems in this forum.Tq.Selamat Bersahur….

Well i supposed its a tak tak..sound, seems ur drive shafts had worn out.Just this morning bro ijat frm kl also face the same problem.Anyway fariza to tell u the truth dont wait until it spreads to other parts ie yr transmission shafts which link each other and this will go major diasaster $$$$$.
As bro ijat also had visit kia s/center and to his surprised 1 pc of drive shaft ost RM1,767.89……!!!!????? Anyway I can get ori /genuine parts 3 times cheaper. If u want good fuel consumption , u must have a good basic maintenance such as good air flow from yr air filter/ good fire spark from yr plug wire and spark plug too, this goes simultaneous u have a good lean burnt & combustion.
Secondly keep your tires properly inflated and aligned. Underinflated tires cause fuel consumption to increase by six percent.
Change your oil. Clean oil reduces wear caused by friction between moving parts and removes harmful substances from the engine.
Finally bro do check ur plugs / plugs cable if any lekage/ yr filter -any clogged and dirty,as for me 06 novus , Ive good fuel consumption and I advised Bro asri try to do some changes to few performance parts such replace yr plugs /u can try Denso Iridium / replace yr plug cable from the standard 6mm to Tricore 3pin plug cable 10.2mm -to have a better current and spark to ignite yr plugs- good combustion means a good lean burn as no carbon deposited.U also must have a good air filter component- recommended the Project S stainless steel air filter where u can have good cool air flow thru the throttle body.Clean up ur fuel injectors/ throttle body……
I think u can try and gradually u will have better mileage- 2 my cents…

Well its nice meeting u yesterday.Bro seems ur car looks great, but once concern me is ur T/belt that produce unusual noise thats ticking me.
From my experience looks like ur tensioner bearing might had worn out where cause chunks of rubber to break loos or slips off….$$$$
Secondly as the belt accumulates miles, the constant bending every time it passes around a pulley plus constant exposure to heat causes the rubber to harden and become brittle.The constant stress, heat and bending also weakens the fibers that make up the reinforcing cords. Eventually the point is reached where something gives and the belt fails.This is what Im afraid off….
Again bro and to all spectrans, no one can predict the exact mileage at which a timing belt will fail, the safest bet is to check/inspect of any kind of noise as a symptoms and follows ur maintenance schedule.For our kia recomended change interval is every 60k km but its wise to replace slightly earlier b4 its too late.
Lastly for my personal advice Bro ijoy, here are few things u opt to do.
1.Replace yr belts /personally recomended Dayco Belts- sure u will luv it…..quite and smooth
2.Had ur gear box transmission refresh ie Go for Full flushing/ replace ur auto filter & gasket-used ori Kia SP111.No problem Ill bring u to the gear box specialist @ Tampoi area.
3.Try to change yr head gasket seems theres slight leakage where oil spill out.And always check ur deep stick.
4.Service and cleans up yr throttle body- no problem Ive got my personal expetice mechanis and will take care of ur car.
I think that goes for a while, and after fixing frm the above chart ,I bet u will lov and enjoys drivings…..k bro Take Care.

3.Install ur A/cond cabin Filter to safe guard ur Cooling Coil frm dirt/unwanted debris to prevent leaks=$$$$$$

You dont have to go to kia specialist nowdays, if u interested I will get for you. the point is its original/genuine performance parts/ not the aftermarket lots of fake/immitation parts. From this I think you can manage a good fuel consumption. Im from JB , can get all this parts thru Spore Kia/Hyundai motors distributors, and performance parts distributors too.

Nak beritahu , this morning seorang lagi member spectrans had a timing belt snap off. Speeding at 140kmh, just imagine how the stress or bomb in the engine blocks…..$$$$$.As I had advice him , go to a well known / trusted mechanics ask to dismantle all the parts which is damage such as piston/ piston rings/cylinder head/ camshafts/ 16pcs valves/ conrod/ crankshaft/ etc etc etc……$$$$$$$$$$$.AsI will assits him to get the ori parts with minimal price compared to……..
So again I personal advice all spectran who are in this forum to take extra cautious and bear in mind that u opt to check/ hear/ inspect/ that something unusual noise around the timing belt section.And if the mileage is about another 5-10k km dont hesitate to wait, do get it done at once!!!
Its rather u spend few hundred , u might have a big hole in yr pocket $$$$$…..

Just wants to announced to members who need :-
1.Ori Kia Spectra air filter box complete one set.D.I.Y.- normaly all spectrans will get the air filter drop in box where the screw type part is broken due to excessive extreme heats in the engine as the plastic gets brittle and easily break and unable to screw it.
2. Ori Kia Air-vent grille assy – situated at the front windscreen left/ right. I got few sets left.
3. On the way trying to get the ori Spectra Arm Rest which also break ats its handle……

Currently I hv the following set-up as my exhaust system.
- custom 4-2-1 extractor
- 2 pc bullets replacing the cat-con and centre box
- 1.8in piping
- straight flow muffler
I hv been using this setting for about 3 years…..the pick-up was great and speeding from stand still (esp from traffic light and toll booth) is superb BUT it just that the vroom sound become unbearable lately……too loud…..
what could be the cause and what should I do next (replace what?)

Seems u had done the proper way to maintance ur spectra to the highest level, I think there few u ought to do ie,
1. Flush out yr power steering oil- its not good to have bad contaminated fluid too long ….as its viscosity might depreciate.
2. Yes u also had to do Flushing the old brake fluid and lastly do the BLEEDING on all 4 wheels. Then u can feel the power on the brake pedal.
3. Regarding about the cit-cit-cit noise comes from yr timing belt, where ur tensioner bearing is not working well that cause yr belt tense and these is few indicators showing the belt is declining due wear and tear. I hope u will take serious action on this better as dont want ended in a workshop quite sometimes……Personally recomended the DAYCO High temp/teflon coating/ Timing Belt comes with 2 heavy duty tensioner bearing and 3 sets of oil seals.U also had to replace using DAYCO Air cond / alternator belt as well. After fixing this wonderful belts u can realized the tikus..cit cit sound is no more heard.As lots of spectrans turn to Dayco T/belt claimming the belt is superb/ quiteness/ smooth and its light on the pedal. I hope u could try and see how it goes, as I myself till now had used the second Dayco belts.Its warranty that assures it can go up 100k km, Yes Bro its proven, as I had replace the second Dayco Belt ,to my surprised the first dayco belt had clock almost 90k km and it still looks like new. I had the first belt kept to prove that this belt is capable last till 100k km or more……
So Bro ramzi, the workshop also had the expertice on replacing T/Belt and on mu quatation says the labour for changing belt/ water pump is only RM90-00. Anyone interested On Dayco Belts do sms/ call me 019-7833001 or 017-7200466. tq.

Regarding yr exhaust system, to my experience where switching to manifold extractor 4-2-1- is good, but u should look closely in yr engine bay.Why, did u notice the extractor bending is so closed to the a/cond motor fan, u wont be regret in coming days u will be facing failure in yr motor fan, where the extreme heat is just few inch to the motor fan, hence it will shortern the life of it.
Secondly u replace the cat-con is ok, but u ought to replace this with a special bullet fr auto cars.
Thirdly u replace the center resonator box with a straight Flow bullet and lastly yr muffler with straight Flow.
ok Bro on this type of mechanism u definately got a better pick up but no end top speed. Thats why most spectrans had complain the even cant get top speed above 170kmh. As u complaint of the unusual loud noise is due to ur straight flow muffler type.
Here are some changes u could do.
1.Fix an special bullet type specialy fo auto cars.which reolace the catcon
2.Fix centre resonators with straight flow bullet type- U will got the pressure rushing out.
3.replace ur straight Flow muffler(rear) to a ‘S;’ Flow type.The sound is superb/ exhale!!!
The outcomes is more encouraging, u got pick-up and end top speed too. as for my novus I go on this manner thought by my spore sifu’s.Thats why mine can go up to the max 189kmh…… but must with few good performance parts such as Stainless Steel air filter/Denso Iridium spark Plugs and outstandings Tricore 10.2mm 3 pin cable
Anyone need the above parts I can deliberately bought fr u and u can send for fixing.Not a problem at all.The bullet is a two piece with aluminium base.Its thicker than the ordinary ones.Or need more detail do call/ sms me 019-7833001. tq

Kalau nak buat service a/cond sekiranya a/cond kita masih sejuk saya nasihatkan jangan buat apa apa.Sekiranya members buat ini akan mendatangkan kesan pd cooling coil yang telah kotor bila di basuh dengan acid ia akan menanggalkan kotoran tapi bocor akan timbul.Ini akan membuat gas akan keluar,maka mesti ganti cooling coil yg baru….$$$$$
Itu sebab sekiranya kita dapati cooling coil kita dah bocor saya nasihatkan spectrans beli parts parts ori sendiri dan kita cuma byr upah sahaja.

For those who are facing Overheating on their spectra, dont worry just call/ sms abg azmie on what extent is yr tempreture failure.
if u on the a/cond suddenly the tempreture gauge rising more than half mark/-This shows ur a/cond condenser fan or radiator motor fan is faulty.
if u find out the radiators coolant water is leaking – u need to replace new sets of Ori Kia Radiators.
If u had replace the leak/ clogged radiators to new ones but the tempreture still rise- the might be a faulty on yr THERMASTAT.
If u still shows yr coolant is leaking – do replace the crack/ harderned raditor hose where coolant can sips out.
And lastly if u come accross whizzing sound- That shows ur waterpump is default.
So need overheating parts fr yr spectra,
1. Radiators/ free raditor cap
2. A/cond/ condenser motor fan
3. Radiator motor fan
4. Thermostat
5. Water Pump
6. Coolant.
7. Tempreture sensor switch.

HOW?
WHEEL ALIGNMENT : To find out if you need an alignment, first check each tire and look for uneven wear patterns.:-
Ifthe tread is deeper on the edges than in the center, the tire is over inflated.
If the tread is deeper in the center than the edges, the tire is under inflated.
If the tread is deeper on one side than the other, have your wheel alignment checked soon.
Another indication of an out-of-alignment condition is a car that continuously drifts or pulls to one side of the road when you let go of the wheel. A car that is hard to keep in a straight line without constant steering corrections is also cause out of alignment too.
WHEEL BALANCING : Theres two types of Balancing 1. Off Wheel Balancing 2. On wheel balancing.
Off wheel Balancing : Out-of-balance tires will cause a car to vibrate at certain speeds, usually between 100kmh and 120kmh. A tire is out of balance when one section of the tire is heavier than the others. One ounce of imbalance on a front tire is enough to cause a noticeable vibration in the steering wheel at about 120kmh. To balance a wheel, the technician will mount it on a BALANCING MACHINE which spins the wheel to locate the heavier part. He will then compensate for the heavy part by attaching a lead weight on the opposite side.
This type of balancing sometimes are not totally perfect and u could feel the steering vibrates at high speed.
ON WHEEL BALACING : The difference between OFF wheel balance and our on-the-car balance is often dramatic. Here’s why:
Most tire stores only “spin balance” the tire and wheel off the car.
To really eliminate vibration the tire and wheel are balanced on the car at a HIGHER RATE OF SPEED, tire balances the complete tire and wheel assembly on your car while simulating speeds up to ABOVE 120KMH.

Function of SHOCKS ABSORBERS :-
f your vehicle sinks or slightly bounces, then it has a suspension problem related to the shocks. The other problem is when the steering wheel vibrates; it is prudent to check on your shocks. When you observe an oil leakage on a shock absorber, it means that it is faulty. You can also know that your shocks are faulty when the vehicle can no longer hold on to the road, when it sways at the slightest chance, check them out. If mere wind displacement on the road by another vehicle causes yours to become unstable, . However Spectrans, the commonest hint is when your tyres start wearing out unevenly. Do replace ur shocks and absorbers mountings too.

Dan yang paling penting juga untuk perjalanan jauh, sistem gear box mesti lah dalam keadaan yang cukup baik.Ini kerana kalau kita memandu dengan jangka yang lama, minyak gear yang lama tidak akan dapat menampung kepanasan yg amat sangat, jadi banyak kemungkinan boleh berlaku seperti Auto Clutch bakar / Torque Converter jammed dan banyak lagi kerana berpunca tidak melakukan Full Flushing.
Saya ingin nyatakan anak saya akan balik cuti raya pada 5/9/2010. Sekiranya sesiapa yang tinggal kl/selangor masih boleh buat flushing dengan harga labour yg sangat murah – RM60-00 sahaja. Nak share info, jangan mudah terpedaya dengan setengah workshop yg boleh buat flushing dimana sy menerima email dari seorang member spectran dari bangi mengatakan buat flushing hanya guna 4 litres (1 botol sj) dan dikenakan minyak/upah/ melebihi 300++..Di tanya minyak gear apa dia ckp minyak Dextron 111.Untuk pengetahuan members semua minyak Dextron 111 tidak sesuai untuk gear box spectra, grade dia rendah.
Jadi abg azmie nasihatkan sesiapa yg nak buat full flushing sudi contact sy 019-7833001 atau 012-7616001 untuk maklumat lebih lanjut. sekian ..selamat Berpuasa..

Today je 2 members had a default alternators, As i had informed for those who had replace occasionally the batery hope to check ur alternators. As function of alternators is to recharged back yr battery which withdrew current capacity to yr vehicle electric components.
So if happen any one had a faulty Alternators do sms me 019-7833001 coz I got 2 more sets ,just bought extra today.
Another thing for those who really are searching for, SPECTRA ORI ARM REST- I had one set unit left,where I also had bought it one today to replaced my broken arm rest. Got to send to wrapped it with leather ……

What happens if u got a default parts:
Engine Mountings Crack : If not rectified u will facing a huge problems , your engine can actually lift up out of the frame during acceleration ,it can cause your fan and belt-driven accessories to be damaged and countless vacuum lines and electrical connectors can be damaged.So guys do takes serious action on this,
Drives Shafts :- IF THE VEHICLE IS MOVING WHEN THIS HAPPENS, THE FAULTY DRIVESHAFT COULD CAUSE DAMAGE THE GEARBOX HOUSING. A DAMAGE GEARBOX HOUSING COULD LEAK GEARBOX OIL AND ALSO UR CAR WILL WOBBLES / RATTLING WHEN ACCELERATINGS.IT HAPPEN TO OUR SPECTRANS @ JB RECENTLY $$$$
Shocks Absorbers : Ifthe shock looses its oil then it allows the rear wheels to basically bounce down the road,swaying, although you may not feel anything over a period of time the tires will wear uneven. So do replace shocks absorbers and absorbers mountings.
Thats all guys ,u should take serious action on this related components, if kind of need the ORI/ Genuine Parts such as
1. Shocks Absorbers & absorbers mountings
2. Front Drives shafts and CV Joint
3. Engine Mountings

Abgg mie, saya dapat feedback, denso iridium yang paling sesuai untuk spectra adalah IK16. kalau guna IK20 boleh, tapi kena panaskan enjin lama sikit waktu pagi sebab IK20 tu jenis yang sejuk (lambat panas). betul ke ni broo? bagi komen sikiittt……..

To differentiate IK16 & IK20. – Ik 16 is hotter and IK20 is colder plugs, is good for our climate and long distance which can give good combustion and lean burnt. While the IK16 is suitable for short distance/stop and go and its not practical for our climate where our engine is extreme heat where using hot plugs may result fouling and missfire…..
Thats why Denso recommeded spectra is compatible to !K20. .Hopes that helps.

For those yang nak power and the same time good Fuel consumptions, Abg azmie cadangkan replaced yr normal copper plugs to Denso Iridium IK20 plugs-warranty up to 150k km,
Then go for bigger cables and make sure not the cina cable!!! Saya recommend Tricore 3 pin plug cable 10.2mm suitable dapat memberi pembakaran yg cukup sempurna dan tiada carbon deposited.Ini terbukti pada kereta novus saya, cukup selesa dengan Fuel consumption dan juga ample power delivery.
Seperkara lagi , #3 serangkai ni sangat memerlukan antara satu sama lain iaitu High Flow cool air dari Project S stainless steel air filter, filteration yg sangat bagus , dapat memberi cukup angin bagi pembakaran yg sempurna / lean burn, Anyway sesiapa yg ingin kan 3 high performance ini dalam 1 pakage, dengan harga yg lebih murah dibandingkan kita beli satu satu,
1.Ori Denso Iridium IK20 – warranty up to 150kkm

First of all sy nak ucapkan ribuan terima kasih pd abg azmie ,kerana rekomen 3 item high performance parts /Members semua sy mengalami fuel consumtion yg cukup tinggi sebelum ni, /kereta lembab dan x de power.Setelah pasang sendiri project S/ denso iridium/dan tricore mmg cukup mengkagumkan.
Malah ia sangat sesuai untuk spectra saya.Lagi abg azmie apa lagi yg patut saya buat untuk car handling pulak? harap dapat bantu sy.tq

itu sebab kita mesti hati hati bila nk beli,dh tentu harga main peranan n pakaging.mcm abg mie direct di denso japan dist, spore,x pyh nk risau ttg originality nya.Bro bila keluar je parts yg baik ada sj yg ciplak dan parts tiruan berleluasa dlm market, anyway ramai spectran dh beli dr sy, insyaallah all are superb! !..

1, Penukaran Timing Belt (dayco) warranty 100k km- yang tinggal area kl/selangor akan saya redirect 1 workshop yg specialized tentang spectra dengan harga di persetujui antara workshop & saya. Labour un t/belt dan water pump hanya- 90-00.
2. Gear Box full flushing guna Ori Kia SP111 gear oil – 12 litres/ auto filter & gasket.- upah nya 60-00
3. Service dan tukar brake pad – 30-00
4. Buat Flushing brake fluid / bleeding all 4 brake wheels/ brake fluid id sediakan – hanya 50-00 labournya,
5. Penukaran shocks absorbers/ absobers mountings- 20-00.
