According to the receipt, the workshop formen change the top set gasket, water pump pipe, oil sump gasket, engine oil, clutch plate, flywheel oil seal, pipes, wheel bearing, gear box oil, radiator fan, do head skimming and other services which costs around RM1700. However, it depends on your car condition. If the parts are still ok, you may not need to change it.

Ni pengalaman saya buat top overhaul kereta hyundai accent 2005. timing belt rm380, 1.5ex valve rm180 (4 unit), top gasket rm360, upah tarik towing rm80, grambal rm65, minyak hitam rm110, oil filter rm22, upah rm380, radiator cap (ganti baru) rm22. so TOTAL RM1577. Murah ke mahal ni?

kalo claim insuran, layan jela berapa pun.. Janji x kena bayar byk.. Kena hati2 jugak.. Kdg2 insuran ni leceh sket.. Silap2 kota kena byr byk excess. Kalo xde insuran, cara paling jimat, hantar kedai ketuk n cat dlm 1k, tukar enjin dlm 3k.
betul, kalau kereta yg dah lama, mmg biasa insuran coverage tak cukup. sbb value keta tu sendiri dah rendah.
cuba tanya workshop lain, survey dua tiga tempat.

aku ada kawan kt kl…dia cakap dia tukar enjin dalam rm500 je..tpi mkin tambah upah n anything,,keseluruhanb dalam 700 cm tu,,,hujung bulan ni aku pun tukar enjin kancil aku..sebb dah bergetar dah…sedikan payung sebelum hujan la kononnya tu…hehehe

Sebab byk barang nak kena tukar. Barang tu pulak harga satu satu dah mahal. Servis caj kalau di proton mmg lg mahal. Tp mmg standard la overhaul makan ribu ringgit.
just repaired my year 2001 Kancil 660x last week at Wangsa Maju and surprisingly it cost me in sum of RM1,328.00. At first they quote me below RM500, since repair had done I have no choice but make full payment instantly. Bill descriptions are as below; it’s frigging expensive? Please advice.
i) Clutch Kit– RM250
ii) Fly Wheel Oil Seal– RM45
iii) Gear Oil– RM60
iv) 2 pc Driveshaft Oil Seal– RM50
v) 3pc Engine Mouthy– RM260
vi) 1 set Water Hose– RM140

Why they change ur engine mounting? Does ur car vibrate too much?
The clutch kit, driveshaft oil seal, and engine mounting only change if there is problem with it.
I’m not so sure why they change the engine mounting, at first they request me to leave my car for a week to repair minor engine oil leaking problem (but I didn’t notice any engine oil drop on the floor but anyway I’m not kind of professional in car maintenance). They did shown me parts been replace but I fail to recognize any.
thats normal trick. they will charge you as much as they can when they know that the customer did not know much about maintenance.
but next time, confirm with them first, what are the things that really need to change, ask the proof of why they want to change, look at the total fix charges and only then u can send the car for maintenance..
nowadays, its hard to find very sincere mechanic..
