2011 SEAT ALHAMBRA
2011 Seat Alhambra offers far more than plenty of space for family, business and hobbies. It is the perfect size for a European MPV, its increased dimensions deliver an outstanding level of interior space.
The new Alhambra is 22 centimetres longer than its predecessor, while it is wider by nine centimetres. There is even plenty of room for adults to sit comfortably in the third row, while the large sliding doors (with optional electric operation) enable easy entry. Luggage space is more than generous – with seating for five, the base volume is 885 litres, which grows to a maximum of 2,297 litres if only the front two seats are in use. Also comes with seating for five, six or seven.
Under bonnet, SEAT Alhambra is equipped with state-of-the-art technology. This starts with the engine line-up, where all TSI and TDI power units are equipped with direct fuel injection and turbocharging. The TSI units deliver 110 kW/150 hp and 147 kW/200 hp, while the two TDI engines offer 103 kW/140 hp and 125 kW/170 hp. Further efficiency technologies fitted as standard include the stop/start system and brake energy regeneration – the recovery of kinetic energy.
Production standard safety encompasses seven airbags, including a driver-side knee airbag, and electric child locks on the rear doors. Also standard are ABS and ESP, including electronic braking assistant, trailer stabilisation and tyre pressure monitoring display.
2010 MANSORY MASERATI GRAN-TURISMO
The stylish and sporty conversion of the Maserati GranTurismo is once again proof of the fact that Mansory has excellent know-how when it comes to customising Italian premium sports cars.
Mansory bodywork modifications: a newly designed front spoiler with discreet spoiler lip gives the front a significantly more sporty appearance, and the carbon fibre radiator grille highlights the famous Maserati trident in the centre of the grille. Additional air inlets and outlets enable the new light-construction bonnet to optimally regulate the temperature in the V8 engine compartment.
Next modification, the carbon fibre spoiler lip at the back, the carbon inlay for the integrated exhaust pipes in the rear apron and a diffuser complete the sporty look. All add-on parts are made from carbon fibre and are manufactured by Mansory using autoclave prepreg processing.
Under the bonnet, a performance-optimised ECU, an air filter with increased air throughput and a sports exhaust system with two double-suction tail pipes enhance the performance of the V8 aggregates by 30 HP each (series: GT 405 HP / GTS 440 HP). At the same time, the torque is increased by around 40 Nm compared to the series models (GT 460 Nm at 4750 / GTS 490 Nm at 4750).
