Nasim Sdn Bhd has announced that the new Peugeot RCZ sports coupe will be officially launched in Malaysia next week.The RCZ is powered by two versions of the 1.6-litre twin-scroll turbocharged BMW-PSA Prince engine: 156 hp and 240 Nm, and 200 hp and 275 Nm. PEUGEOT RCZ TO BE OFFICIALLY AVAILABLE IN MALAYSIA NEXT WEEK!
The Peugeot RCZ will officially be launched in Malaysia next week. Brought in by the official distributor of everything Peugeot in Malaysia, Nasim Sdn Bhd, the new RCZ was voted the most beautiful car of the year at the 25th International Automobile Festival.
It’s sculptured and dynamic exterior features avant-garde styling with an athletic, elegant and aerodynamic style. Its double-bubble roof and rear window, in particular, represent a technological engineering achievement for a mass-produced vehicle.
“The RCZ has won several notable awards in the last 12 months and it’s not surprising to see why. Its futuristic exterior, luxurious interior and powerful engine is catered for enthusiasts who enjoy driving and want to make a statement.
“The RCZ will enter the niche premium coupe segment in the market and we are confident it will be well received,” said SM Nasarudin SM Nasimuddin, CEO of Nasim.
The RCZ, which is a 2+2 coupe, will be available in both automatic and manual transmissions mated to a powerful twin-scroll turbocharged engine. The automatic variant produces 156 bhp and 240 Nm of torque while the manual powered variant produces an astounding 200 bhp and 275 Nm of torque.
The RCZ is the second of three models to be launched by Nasim this year and will be part of a roadshow at the Bangsar Shopping Centre from May 20 to May 22.
As for pricing, Nasim has not revealed any information as yet, but you can expect it to be anywhere from the low to mid two’s, that’s RM200,000 ++.
