Last March, Naza Quest, the distributor of the Cruze in Malaysia has launched the Chevrolet Cruze Special Edition.This model was inspired by the WTCC Cruze, the model that won the Manufacturer’s title and the Driver’s title in the 2010 WTCC driven by Yvan Muller. It is priced from just RM97,888 (not including of OTR and insurance) and only 300 units are available.
On the outside, the Cruze Special Edition is adorned with 18″ alloys in place of standard 16″ ones, lower-profile Falken performance rubber, LED side mirror repeaters, new door visors, and a full body kit that includes an aggressive front bumper, side skirts, a rear bumper with a diffuser-like item and a bootlid lip spoiler.Under the hood though, there are no changes as they are using the same 1.8 liter Ecotec engine paired with a 6 speed automatic drivetrain transmission gearbox.
Inside, the cabin is offered with leather seats finished in red stitching, along with Cruze logo on the scuff plate that illuminates when the doors are open.
