2010 BEIJING AUTO SHOW: YOUNGMAN EUROPESTAR LOTUS L5 + BYD S6 SUV

The mysterious car that had a spy shot while its roadtest in China which was expected as Proton car. But the expectation is wrong. It is Youngman Europestar, launched at 2010 Beijing Auto Show, engineered by Lotus for the Chinese company. The previously launched RCR (GEN2) and Jingyue (Persona) have been renamed the Lotus L3 5-door and 4-door respectively, while this new model has been christened the Europestar Lotus L5.
The L5 is available in both 5-door hatch and 4-door sedan form and is powered by the Campro CPS engine.
There’s not much information about the car online at the moment but a peek at the interior reveals that the dashboard is unique but does resemble the Exora’s or Gen2`s a little especially in the upper half of the dashboard.
BYD S6 SUV
BYD S6 SUV is China BYD’s first SUV model, which shape is very similar with Lexus RX model. And at 2010 Beijing Auto Show, BYD S6 SUV is one of the main latest models of BYD.
However, the design of the front and back appearance is still with a distinctive style of BYD. The headlamps are designed with sports style and a black bottom shell, which eyebrow design is also very fashionable. High beam lights are separated with low beam lights with a lens, which constructs that there are only two small round light groups in the black box.
BYD S6 SUV is positioned as high-end SUV, equipped with some high-end devices the keyless entry touch button on the door, hidden rear reversing camera, multi-function steering wheel, and keyless start.
In appearance, BYD S6 SUV indeed fully reflects the character of sports urban SUV. Wholly, comparing with a variety of previous high imitation BYD models, BYD S6 SUV shows more independence and innovation.

pernah baca di http://chinacartimes.com yang BYD SUV ni memang banyak persamaan ngan Lexus ataupun Toyota Harrier. byk model BYD yang similar ngan Toyota tp yang hairan Toyota tak saman pulak BYD ni berbeza ngan jenama lain di China. Maybe salah 1 sbb BYD byk guna part2 dari Toyota. Untuk BYD S6 SUV ni, walaupun similiar, tp ok la sikit bndg sblm ni sbb byk gak yg diubahsuai dan menjadikannya lebih baik. Enjin dia guna enjin Mitsubishi 2.4 4g69. Harga saya baca ritu dalam RMB 150, 000 ( RM 75, 000 ). kalau bawak masuk ke Malaysia secara pasang tempatan ( CKD ) di Malaysia, insyaallah saya akan beli sbb harga insyaallah tak akan lebih RM 100, 000. tgk interior dia pun agak ok. dan dgr citer di China, kualiti BYD setanding Toyota tapi pada harga jauh lebih murah.
Yang Youngman Europestar tu saya nak tanya sikit. 1) usahasama di China antara Proton, Lotus – Youngman 2) guna kepakaran Lotus Proton 3) pengimport rasmi Proton 4) sykt rebadge Proton mcm Produa. Yang mana 1 betul mengenai Youngman ni yer ?
Lupa pulak. BYD tu salah satu sykt tempatan china terbaik. skrg no 2 di belakang Chery di China. Overall diaorang ni di ranking ke 5. No1 – 4 Volkswagen dan GM. Volkswagen dan GM di China ada byk sykt usahasama. Tp apa yang menakjubkan sy tgk di http://autonews.gasgoo.com pada bulan Mac punya jualan BYD ni ranking no 2 di belakang Volkswagen mengatasi jenama2 spt Buick ( GM ) , Honda dll walaupun model yang diaorang keluarkan tak banyak berbanding Chery. Maybe dia byk cash kot sbb share holder nyer Warren Buffet yang terkenal sbg tokoh pelaburan no 1 dunia juga bekas org terkaya di dunia. skrg di kedudukan no3. Dia punya kekuatan adalah produk berasaskan bateri termasuk bateri untuk EV car/ plug in hybrid. Bila saya google, BYD adalah pembekal utama bateri untuk sykt komunikasi dana komputer ternama mcm Sony Ericcson, Nokia, HP, Compaq, Lenovo, Acer dll
maaf. diaorang di ranking ke 6 tahun lepas, Chery di kedudukan no5. saya sedikit keliru

tp pndpt aku la kan..dri segi design la..kete korea n china skunk dah makin mantap la..exterior n interior..depa dah mula nak bersaing ngan jepun da..design2 diorag sume dah boleh melelehkn air liur customer2 dah..
hopefully proton kebanggaan kite dpt mencontohi depa..mudah-mudahan la..
hopefully jugak. betoi2. tengok skrg Korea dah hmpr2 design conti. China pulak sedang berlumba dgn Korea walaupun masih di belakang. Tapi sapa tahu 5 tahun lg dimana diaorang? tgk pameran auto show ni memang 1 kejutan termasuk kereta sport lambang kala jengking tu. meleleh air lir. CH Auto ke apa namanya. Try nak masuk laman web dia tak boleh, bahasa cina. hehe
