JOHOR SULTAN PRESENTS 19 VEHICLES TO POLICE FORCE
KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 11 — Sultan of Johor Sultan Ibrahim Almarhum Sultan Iskandar today presented 11 cars and eight high-powered motorcycles worth RM5.5 million to the police force.
The vehicles, comprising two Proton Perdana and nine Australian-built Holden cars and eight Harley Davidson motorcycles, were presented by the sultan to be used by the Johor police contingent.
Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Ismail Omar said the present would spur police personnel, especially those serving in Johor, to work harder.
Efficient and high-powered logistics were vital in both the police and the government”s bid to provide a better service to the people, he said at the ceremony to present the vehicles at Bukit Aman police headquarters, here today.
Also present were Tunku Mahkota of Johor Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim and Home Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein.
